using my standard gtr bov's. with a profec b. (knob type) autronic smc. im gonna have a go at it this weekend. and i shall tell of the results.
il be able to tell if the turbo is to small for this aplication coz is quite an audible compressor. typical t04 sound
spark blowing out.
either caused by weak spark or to lean mixture.
so.. afm,fuel pump,igniter,coils,boost leak...
check the fuel presure first:d (while driving obviously)
well i think il just give it a crack. using the pressure over type wastgate hook up with my profec b.

200000km old stocker is gonna be stronger than a new n1 block.
a 200000km old n1 block would be very strong
it comes down to weathering of the block/metal.
it worked for the 1400hp 1.5litre bmw f1 turbo engines
if you can find a virgin bore old 32 block its gonna be plenty strong.
give advan performance a call. hes done some research on the issue i believe
or id just like to get my hands on a group A block

i know what your all thinking but.. im in the proces of helping to build up a s14 race (nizpro s14) car that uses a bleed off style boost control:o using stock gtr bov's
im tempted on trying this method.
thing is i cant find any info on it:s like how to configure it up etc etc autospeed has an artical on it but i couldnt be assed to pay for the subscription to read on..:
