  2. nup... take the wheel off and the disk. belt the crap out of the broken stud with a hammer to pop it out. slip in the new stud and using a rattle gun do up the stud with a wheel nut. it will drag it in a thats about the extent of that repare cheeres
  3. the km reading will be bogus. just open the oil cap and inspect the colour of the cam bearings. if its really clean thewn its genuine ks. slightly brown 120-150k almost black 200k+ posibly clicked the 1 back to 0 on the dash. but my gtr has 198k on it. and its fine apart from the turbos going (oil seal) but it had service history from new

  5. nup... we get those guys all the time. i mean jobs. complying 15yr imports. it probably was 150000-300000yen. there just milking the 15yr rule. buy it cheap and sell it to make a buck or 2. but without the auction sheet you dont know. could be a grade 3 or a r2 for all i know.
  6. not a bad car. but i wouldnt pay any atention to the km reading. unless it has logbooks. thats easy just ask for the auction sheet to see how honest they are working in a import shop i see heaps of these go through. by far our most popular car at the moment. from experiance they are all not bad. very rarely do we get ones that have mechanicle problems straight of the boat

  22. i hope you not running the factory oil cooler/filter block on that!!!!!! have fun keeping it coool. ie: 2 seperate 25 row serk coolers in -10 cant do it, it all bypasses inside the factory oil filter block, 4 valves 2 for the filter 2 for the coolant/oil cooler in mine anyway, perhaps im special
  23. because the "open" part is only very short and made of high quality ductile iron so it doesnt flex silly, not run of the muck cast iron. besides its abit harder to make a fancy sleeve spacer on a 20k bottom end.lol. who knows. perhaps they know its bolted/pressed onto a rigid iron block (couldent find any decant pics of the same motor with a closed vs open deck kthanks subbie)
