think the general mood on this one is a bit less scathing and more rational
its very interesting.
"Sydney, NSW) In response to a series of misinformed and inaccurate statements currently being bandied about on a particular website forum concerning changes to its private track hire policy, WSID has decided to take this opportunity to set the record straight."
somhow i think we or other forums pissed them off.
but i agree with all of you regarding the street car limit. i mean if its a quik car that has been propery aproved for racing by ANDRA how come you cant race it?
i mean im no expert and dont have a andra licence buy what if you run your 8.9second un tubbed rx3 with slicks etc. get raped when you come back for the timeslip. and then you get your car up to spec and you readdy to go.
what has dirt or buster had to do?(excuse my ignorance)
i mean how many high 8 and 9 second "street registerd" rotors do you see at a street meet.
what are they raced as? i think a non envasive phonecall so a couple of rotary workshops is in order to find out what or how they get away with it.,or any prominant shop.
if you run slicks its not street legal is it. what about that methanol in the tank?
or do they not have any ANDRA officals or qualified ANDRA inspectors presant at these trackdays incase someone goes quicker?
i think taking a more profetional and civilised aproach to this is the way to go. i mean you -dont bite the hand that feeds you-
any one feel free to coment on my adition, i think i have an idea but corect me if i heeps wrong. cheeres
