  1. yes. get 33 rotors. 32 gtst 280mm by 26mm thick 33 gtst 296mm by 30mm thick
  2. at about 10.30pmish i had a mad run or 5 with a purple33gtr xxr33x or somthing, it was good insanity on woodville road
  3. the first thing to look for is that its stock. they will all have aroud 100k if its less be cautios. one way to tell is compare the colour of the red pointers on the cluster compared to the centre guages. basicly the gear boo and hanbrake cover are about 50-80each at a trimmer. twin plate os giken- cheep and reliable. 10grand to do a motor and better turbos ballpark widow seals are about 100bucks each seats are pricy depending how badly they are worn. etc etc cheeres
  4. all of the above.
  5. 10 bucks at a bearing shop.(cbc bearings) oh its the save as a vl or a 31 or any rb for that matter
  6. woops. ok that is a 1992 onward door. it would of been replaced in japan. i love pulling of the door trims and seing them when im complying 32s its quite common on 32s as i think you cant buy the non intrusion bar boor from nissan(safty reqirment) the other side get some 50*20*2.5mm blu tube cut it to 1113mm get 75*6mm plate. cut one bit to 150mm the other to 100mm and one piece of plate about 10mm long. weld the 100mm bit to the bar (longways) leaving about 20mm of the plate overhanging the end of the bar get the 150mm plate and weld the 10mm one on the end of the plate (making the plate thicker at the end) at this point you will need to take it to somone who has put them in the dors before because it to dificult to explain on paper
  7. if they are both like that youve saved about 500bucks
  8. atlast. somone who actualy beleives 34s are ceramic!!!!! and they do break and i dont like replacing them on a friday!!
  9. un plug the 02 sensor. it sounds silly but it will eliminate it as a problem. evan if its new it could be the wrong one. also if you can get hold of a fuel presure guage it would be handy.,tell the mechanic to test it while hes up it. (be carful not to place it under the wipers as i broke a windscreen doing it that way) does it have a foam type airfilter,or any aftermarket air filter? from what it sounds like these are my main suspect parts: 1-air flow meter 2-fuel pump 3-02 sensor(will be ok when cold but f**k out after about 2-3 mins) 4-ignition igniter.-finned thing at the back of the motor 5-coolant temp sensor if had to fix a whole heap of these problems with cars coming of the boat, and its usaly in that order.
  10. yes, you need to get the corect code(s). but dont turn the car off if the lights come on.
  11. stock boost on a 34gtt is 0.8-0.9 bar. provided it isnt pinging
  12. hmm. galsten aeyy. il let simon simons know
  13. hey atleast they didnt skip the letter and go to the rta. same thing but mine read "dir sir, please present your motor vehicle bearing plates@@@@@@ to hornsby rta for inspection bla bla bla.(the pits)
  14. that is an excellent point. WHAT DOES WILLOWBANK DO thats an andra approved trak. thats expencive. but i spose its mostly there to save our lives. 3.5 hours. that sux but atleast the air is clean i spent 2years slowly puting together my old dr30. finaly took some time of work and raced it at wsid. only to have run some shit 2.3 60footers (11.8@126) and on the way home a magna ran a red a tboned the f**k out of me writing it of. yes its all about blood, sweat, and tears.
  15. feel free to drop some photocopies or what ever into any autobarn. were all pretty cas on that stuff. so pretty quick cars show up and buy some shit all the time
  16. good stuff. thats some good power. nice mph as well but heh keep those crap tyres so you can run in a hire day.
  17. think the general mood on this one is a bit less scathing and more rational its very interesting. "Sydney, NSW) In response to a series of misinformed and inaccurate statements currently being bandied about on a particular website forum concerning changes to its private track hire policy, WSID has decided to take this opportunity to set the record straight." somhow i think we or other forums pissed them off. but i agree with all of you regarding the street car limit. i mean if its a quik car that has been propery aproved for racing by ANDRA how come you cant race it? i mean im no expert and dont have a andra licence buy what if you run your 8.9second un tubbed rx3 with slicks etc. get raped when you come back for the timeslip. and then you get your car up to spec and you readdy to go. what has dirt or buster had to do?(excuse my ignorance) i mean how many high 8 and 9 second "street registerd" rotors do you see at a street meet. what are they raced as? i think a non envasive phonecall so a couple of rotary workshops is in order to find out what or how they get away with it.,or any prominant shop. if you run slicks its not street legal is it. what about that methanol in the tank? or do they not have any ANDRA officals or qualified ANDRA inspectors presant at these trackdays incase someone goes quicker? i think taking a more profetional and civilised aproach to this is the way to go. i mean you -dont bite the hand that feeds you- any one feel free to coment on my adition, i think i have an idea but corect me if i heeps wrong. cheeres
  18. if you want it to react quicker use a thinner hydrolic oil in the attessa resovire. i tryed it in mine and it seem/feels faster to react.
  19. i thought it was somthing like that
  20. im about to find out
  21. Yes they do. BUT the msd needs a positive trigger. the factory igniter uses a negative one. ie: msd needs a + voltage the factory one uses a - one i mean it earths out,it works the same way as a old coil of a carby engine. the only way you can make it work is with a square wave inverter circut. ie:a tacho adapter that converts a negative signal to a positive one. but im asuming you are yiusing a aftermarket ecu. because you can change it on most of them. also youl need to run the factory ciols in 3 parrelel pairs. cyl 1and6 2and5 3and4. also the trigger wires to the factory igniter need to be bridged the same way. but i havent seen this done on a car. i mean im not sure if the factory ecu will like it.
  22. omg. a grey 32gtr out the front of autobarn chatswood. ohh thats just mine sorry i am board and felt like bieng a tool
