  5. the bosch ev14 size injector uses 14mm orings, they are a short injector but are sold with little adapters to suit. nice injectors. but for the money id be getting the siemans deka4 80lb injectors instead..
  6. tuning yes. time, lots. just factor in a timing belt change cost. plus a extra hour for putting in the cams and an extra 2-3hrs for doing the springs if they have the rite tool.

  10. 33 and 34gtr transfer cases have a internal preload on the friction plates. regardless of there being and hydraulic pressure there..
  11. yes a very common issue. all the "brass button" type clutches these days tend to melt to the flywheel. they bond on the outer diameter of the friction plate. evan worse if its a molly flywheel. they really need to be "worn" a fare amount to be reliable to launch. just like bedding in brakes. the need to get hot and burn off all the resins etc etc otherwise they get sticky.
  12. I= inlet E= exhaust. with the orientation of the numbers matching that of the front caps(they are not interchangable so they have to be in the right order)

  14. SO DO YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A OIL PRESSURE GUAGE? not the factory one but a decent non autometer one..
  15. DONT FORGET that the vq is a very wide 90 degree v6 with a pain in the ass timing cover that dominates the engine may..

  17. silly question, but have you earthed the fuel pump? takes 5 mins to do and eliminates so anoying and potentialy destructive problems
  18. what are the dwell settings you have at the moment. and im corected the stock dwell is 1ms..
  19. just to clarify, the 13 row is the same physical size as a 25 row serk cooler..
  20. no. just a waste of time really. unless you are doing the work yourself.
  21. there is nothing wrong with the vipec, its just my guess that the default dwell setting is to long, more dwell = more spark but hotter running. less dwell gives a weaker spark but nicer on the drivers. i burnt out 2x bosch 008 igniters with my old autronic before i worked it out.. im fairly sure stock dwell time is around 2ms most people run up to 3.5ms without dramas.
  22. my guess is the dwell is set to long and overheating the igniter circuit.

  24. unfortunatly, there is no magic transmission option. quiet and easy to use,but slow gearchanges = os gearset noisy but strong with quick gearchanges = ppg or a sequential or you could find a r34 getrag with nismo input shaft. but you would need to do the diffs.
