  1. i realise that. i just thought there would of been a common set of ratios that people choose for the gtr... or is every holinger floating around got differant ratios.. anyone know what ratios were used in the group a r32?

  3. hi all, i was just wondering, is there a standard set of ratios for the 6 speed holinger sequential for the gtr? what seems to be the commonly chosen ones? 6th being overdrive. cheers also, does anyone know what the mainshaft to countershaft distance is on the seq holinger? ie. the os88 is 88mm....

  5. i find it hard to belive gtss can do 400kw... mayby with the vac line off the wastegates..
  6. well, with your fuel pump, if you have 1000cc injectors, (minimum for e85 and half decent power) you need have a pump that can flow atleast 6l/min or whatever the total flow of the injectors are.. not hard to come close to max on 1000cc with e85

  8. i believe your friend may be refering to a a aftermarket balancer. or harmonic balancer/damper.

  10. try swappping a crank angle sensor.
  11. what revs was done? also the rev limmiter will have a big efect on a oil pump failure. this topic is a massive can of worms. at a minimum you need FULL WEIGHT FLYWHEEL, ROSS OR ATI CRANK DAMPER, FULL FACE CRANK COLLAR AND A N1 OR BETTER OIL PUMP.+ a rotating assembly balance. within 1 gram is ok. bettter if posible. if you have all of these things and it let go then there is a big problem.

  13. only reason i prefer the os giken is that they can be really abused and still hold up. but like any multiplate. slip it to much and the centre plates can worp. so id pic the one with the thicker centre plate. not sure how you would find out but..
  14. n1 crank is same as a normal 33-34 crank. no differant. pretty sure you can only buy one crank from nissan for rb26..
  15. well. my car has a r3c. solid centre etc etc. ive had os ts2,npc built os ts2. girlfriend has orc 709d. and all of my os giken ones are way easier to drive. harder pedal. but way easier.

  17. yeah, looking at getting some weds. tc105n's but only come in +12 for 10.5 or 9.5" i would like 10" at least.
  18. hey all, im looking at buying some new wheels. 18x10 or 18x10.5 all round. what offset is suitable for r32gtr? i had a brief look at the wheel guide on here but its like 26 pages long.. cheers.
  19. yes we know that they come off the transfer case.. just wondering if there was a change to electronic anywhere in the 32 range
  20. what you are missing, is that with the redlne, because of its very high sheer loading, you can put the ultra light, (yellow) in it, wich is thinner than you motul gear300 and most of the other comonly used oils, but still has the mechanical protection of a thicker oil. so the synchros can work better because of the lower viscosity. same a the old atf trick. just with more gear protection. we have fixed many zed boxes with the yellow. yes its meant for a dogbox but does work. however if the detent springs and stuck to the magnet theres no oil that will fix it.

  22. do all 32's run a cable? or do the later ones have a electric sender?
  23. orc is good, but very poor pedal feel. ie easy to stall and/or slip to much. os giken is very good ans great pedal feel.
  24. yeah i know the hot tank stuff, but the cold tank i thought was a solvent de-carboniser solution, till i put my hand in it and the next week i lost all the skin off it. after i turned yellow that is... you put water in it to stop it evaporating and keep the smell down.
