  1. so the ex valves are bigger than 26? and the vct, is it on off or a variable type?
  2. thats pretty cool! ime not so worried about my 280/11.5 cams anymore. seems to not matter with a big huffer on there.
  3. never heard of alcon? well for one they are the standard brake of v8 supercars.. know what model they are? any info on disc size?
  4. all depends on how you want it to come on.. or fall off between gears for that matter. why not try something like a borg warner? the 72mm s400sx3 would be a good start. and ALOT cheaper. and good for 70psi..... also proven to be more responsive than a gt4202
  5. i thought vg30et only had op6 housing..
  6. not sure it will work as the ecu will have a differant trigger for the inbuilt ingniters vs the external igniter
  7. wow. i guess only some tuners have the skill to get a car running perfect from scratch in 1 day.... 8 hrs is an awful long time to spend on a tune... and fyi rb26 using itb needs a tps based tune. (throttle over map) very hard and inacurate if tuning fuel on the map alone.
  8. and old block will be far stronger then a new block. ie 200,000k old 05u block will be stronger than a new gt or n1 block. with stock bore size.
  9. hey all, does anyone know if the ikeya sequen shifter is a good idea with a proper dog engagement box? has anyone used one with such a box? only asking so i can set up a propper rev cut more easily so i dont ware the dogs out as fast.. and if it makes them ware half as fast its paid for its self too just need some feedback before i place an order. cheers. ps. r32gtr ppg 5 speed

  12. well you hsvent changed or replaced the part that actually changes gear, namely the synchros. link on the "drag gears"?
  13. as the name of them suggests, id say its so you can set your car up "super lap" spec. then install theese so you can drive home or to the track with your fully super happy race low ride height, without bottoming out on normal roads. and pull them out for some laps etc etc.
  14. just throw a block off in the pvc hose. if your not using a stock bov id sugest using one.
  15. nistune is great. provided the doner ecu isnt coroded on the inside.

  19. also briefly on the bagging thing, a workshop in queensland succesfully sued a forum user for slander.. whether the poster was rite or wrong doent matter. id be upset too if i got charged 7k for intercooler install aswell...
  20. c= no stepped compressor ie 12 or 14 blade comp wheel and flat back wheel g= stepped comp wheel (normal type 1 high 1 low etc etc) and superback (curved back side for higher strength) L2 has a larger thust bearing i believe h is larger turbine yes?
  21. considering the software is very autronic like... i find it hard to believe its 3 days to tune. unless he wants 3 goes at cold start. and saying that my autronic has ZERO correction for cold start. (big injectors wetting the ports do that just fine..) not trying to step on any toes here, but 3 days. please... i hope its not going to be a bill for 24hrs@ 300-400hr dyno labour!
  22. i had a uber oldschool td06-19c 14cm kit on my dr30 (fj20et) evan had a sigma wastgate (prior to hks) it was ok very good punch in the face boost delivery. not much power but. it was a stock ecu. ive got a 10 or 12cm tdo6 housing somewhere rusting away in my garage
  23. supprisingly docile. my missus car.gt35/.63 rb25. 252 ponams and a haltec made 340kw on 22 psi. was really boring to drive. no big rush just a smooth delivery. with quite abit of lag between gears. (the t04z thats on there now has less lag between gears.) made full boost just before 3500. but slowly. not nothing then 22 pound. it built gradualy from 2.5k
  24. i would of thought that it was a selectable option in the software like all the other good ecu's......
