  1. depending on the diameter i could turn some up just need the wastegate side for a referance.
  2. handy with a lathe?
  3. hey all. im abit stuck. i need to roll a cone 26" long. going from 1"-3" in diameter out of 1.6mm aluminuim, but most slip rollers ive seen have 40~mm diameter rollers? also what is the best way to approach this? cheeres.
  4. does anyone do the mahle and argo combo as a kit? also, what comp are the mahle pistons? are they flat tops? does anyone do any pistons with a dome?
  5. very rarly do mains go.. unless the thust is rooted. but you will still get 60+ oil pressure when cold. if you have only 10 or so pound the head will be very second hand very soon. can only be a rooted oil pump or wrong bearing size.
  6. just get a map sensor based ecu and solve all your problems in one hit..
  7. well one will have a turbo..... na will have aftermarket oil and water lines. as well as not having rb20det on the inlet plumbing.
  8. takes back for warenty? way too laggy. its not a t88. surly crd would know this.
  9. it can completly ruin your engine. i had that happen to my old fj20. id got stuck between the piston and bore. 2mm grove in the bore. complete throw away. you really need to use a bore scope and make sure you get it all out. or pull the head off. you may be able to blow it out with compressed air but make sure the exhaust valve is open, not the inlet..
  10. lol. thats a good interpretation of the rules.
  11. to remove you need a bent screwdriver thru the fork hole, hold the shiny retaining clip against the clutch cover spring, while its held there you should be able to pull the bearing out of it using the fork.
  12. this may sould dumb, but it hasnt already had an undersize grind on the crank has it? you got the old bearings? take a pic of the part number on the back of the bearing and post it up
  13. you could cheat and use a 1" alloy pipe to run most the way and have a nice bulkhead fitting in the firewall with your hose to the pump. etc.
  14. locktite dude all the way. (thread locker etc etc.) have to do that on the greedy plenums for the top hose outlet too.
  15. sweet. ive got a gasket. (thanks norm) just have to wait till the bloody new year now... damn water jet cutters closed today.
  16. definatly would help. evan a second hand one. just need to trace it for the laser cut..
  17. il definatle make up some belt shrouds michael
  18. oh. -16 wiggins will hurt the pocket
  19. no, same belt as the timing belt. but id imagine the older gilmer style (flat teeth) would make some noise. oh wait. superchager belts have a flat tensioner wheel running over the teath side, not the back of the belt. hence the noise. next issue is the crank trigger... not using the cas for rpm as its to unstable. just need a 7" trigger disc. btw, how many teath should it have? (counting the missing tooth.) any multiple of 6?
  20. heres some pics of the pump installed to dummy motor worth noting, 30 thou or 0.75mm shim on the bracket was enough to go from floppy belt to way to tight...
  21. the one that goes to the head, not the throttle bodies.
  22. ps.. if they say it cant be got from every servo, they may aswell ban 98 ron as not all servos have that too...
  23. wel;l looks like il have To get the gasket and have it laser cut..
  24. hji all. im after a rb26 intake flange. not a stock one but rather a 13mm~ thick aluminium laser cut or cnc black head intake flange ie, im making my own manifold and need something to weld the runners to.... preferably with the coolant ports not done..
