  1. well, 11, 1st. 47 2nd almost...
  2. yes. i wasnt to impresed with it, we had lots of dammage, (utes) but jack took the series with grant coming home second. so a 1,2 for the campionship was nice before race 3 we had done a total of 10 laps..... rubbish track with heaps of our time lost from them gluing it back together..
  3. il be there with our utes. 11,47,18,16,44. will be busy busy
  4. very cool!! i here your might be a pace car in sydney for the v8 utes? il have to say hi. im looking after jack elsgood (coopers) and grant jhonstone (grove) would be great to have a 1,2 result for the year!!
  5. 3076 with the wick wound rite up. gt35 to laggy for not much more power + on and off throttle they are laggy. t04z laggy. just get a nice big wastgate so it wont spike. and id keep the revs under 7500. unless youve got a external oil pump. oh. you will need some upgraded valve springs if you are going to have any hope in making your desired power.
  6. i dont get it, i have no problem in peak hour traffic with it. but if you compare it to a stocker then yeah, harsh. but not the worst by any means.. hold on to it. they are a very good clutch.
  7. i just noticed, no front diff in the gt500.. were they rear drive only?
  8. i did get inspired! i have some cool shit in the pipline!!
  9. thats an option. does the hi octane r34 and r32 run the normal power steer?
  10. the abs ecu is the attessa ecu aswell... the solution is in the plug, it has a stitch in it that is closed when unplugged. so your original car had abs? im not familiar with the cedric and how it is wired..
  11. what about having the oil hole in the bigend like the factory rods? yes the rods i have in my 26 have the grove you speak off.
  12. all good as its a big single. quick mockup seems it will fit nicly. yeah the guy i bought it of said it pulled 26inhg on a well sealed motor lol.. il have to get one of those vac regulators.. ps. do ross do a balancer thats got the ps drive aswell as a oil plump drive? on there site it says it removes the ps part when using the pump drive.
  13. wouldnt happen to have a spare inlet manifold from the gt500 engine?
  14. size? the biggest you can fit!
  15. oh. remote mount is better. thermostate is better but limits how well they cool. ie road car have a thermostate but if its a track car dont have one.
  16. if youre getting pwr get jjr. both need shit cleaned out of them prior to fitment. hks one is good. ive got the remote filter one with some sereck 25 row coolers, but they need alot of ducting to work properly. the jap ones/jjr have a much wider fin spacing so there placement isnt as critical and they dont need as much ducting. dont put infront of the radiator coz oil will be down and water up.. placing them in the brake duct area of the front bar is best.. to get the most out of them you need to remove the factory oil filter/cooler asembly on the block and relace that with a non oil cooler filter block aka rb20 or na rb25 etc etc.
  17. just get a boost controller. bear in mind, the more boost you want to run, the SMALLER the wastegate can be.
  18. just gotta figure out where to mount it now.... dash 16 inlet on the rear is a doozy
  19. got my pump. dailey engineering 5 stage roots scavenge. from evernham engines that do the dodge dart 5.9L nascar motors. fully rebuilt. yay.
  20. stock gtr. 2 bar no leaks.
  21. oh ok cool. yeah 5 stage daley engineering pump with roots scavenge.
  22. i never got around to sending it up. so its abit late now. but is clear its not rite. just having that happen made me abit wary of converted clutches. so to be acurate i have never delt with them at all. im asuming there own complete clutches are much better. and this must of been a faulty hub. non the less not to good. any sugestions? will they still fix it?
  23. so what if one was using a twin scroll ex housing? and what was done with regards to welding it. cast iron is dificult to weld at the best of times..
  24. i didnt like my npc experiance. the clutch didnt slip. but when it did it welded itsself to the flywheel but eventually broke free.. apon replacement to a r3c i noticed a major flaw with it.. namly the soft chrom molly used for the friction plate splines.. i believe i got it thru you elite.. was a mate of bunts and anna.. one was fine one was near on stripped, and jes the input shaft was a ok. this was after a handful of launches and roughly 3000km.
