  1. i would of thought youd have a pedal box setup by now... that would solve alot of things. from the sound of it, youd need a 3/4" one. going up only 1 size will make a differance but not alot.
  2. so you definatly used the supplied os giken bearing and carrier? i find mine really easy to drive.. one clutch the is hard is the nismo g-max spec3 tripple solid centre 1200ps over... imposible. i exploded me rear diff when launching. it stalled a 26 with a t04z on 20 pound and shatterd the diff side beaings..
  3. yeah. money is on diff bushes. ones in the rear x member above the hicas rack
  4. this is the only reason id be inclined to get same nice penkle or carrillo's average weight of most of the ones ive seen is 520~gms
  5. does anyone do rb30 rods with pressure wrist pin oiling?
  6. just run e85 ps. looks just like my old td0619c i had on my fj20 hehe
  7. 1 ppg 5 speed with billet mainshaft and holenger input shaft..
  8. I KNOW I COULD JUT BUY rb30 ones but when i can get some nice carrillos for next to nothing with pressure wrist pin oiling (will be drysumped) one must ask... also it my open some options for na motors using 25 or 26 pistons with 6.1 or 6.2" rods to bring the piston up higher for a high comp ratio.....
  9. hey all. as the topic sugests, can you use small block 6" rods in a rb30? whats required? experts only please, i know it been done but need the details. cheeres
  10. you need a gq patrol cyl. 1 1/16" no prop valve bolts right up. gtst is 15/16 gtr is 1" gtr with brembo is 1 1/16" bm50 gtst bm54 gtr bm56 brembo. non abs cyl, front 2 are the front and the single one is the rear. abs has just 2 and differant prop valve.
  11. lol@ thread bump.. oh. a good trick is to use a gq patrol master cyl. no proportoning valve. 1 1/16" bore. combined with a bias valve for the rear it works really well. all bolts up, just swap the resovior.
  12. nascar? you may need to modify them if using bigger than a 330mm rotor. get pads to?
  13. yes i believe they come with new pads from nissan. also same as evo,350z,sti etc etc very common jap brembo. sure some digging around should find them.
  14. have the hand controler? you can adjust it in there what knock level it comes on. if its set to 50 or somethi ng you need to have a look at the tune.
  15. what r34 master? if gtr its a 1 1/16" bore and yours is 1" bore. you will have a harder pedal with better feel. yours must be abs. cheeres
  16. ps. i want that ex manifold!! but who can do that king of custom bending?
  17. cool. so just if no one has got it yet.. a rb20detr from factory makes 225hp stock 195hp. the only diferance from 20r so normal 20 is the turbo/ex manifold and ecu. and front mount intercooler. the race motor is way differant. just the same as the gms gtr's having a "v spec motor" etc etc. nothing factory but the head castings
  18. well looking at the bulleye power site it looks to be a S256 but with the non extended tip comp wheel, would be ok. but a genuine bullseye power one is much better. but its esentaly just a plain old t4. 55mm inducer with a p trim rear wheel.
  19. apart from bdg and petterson, what are some RELIABLE pumps? with roots scavange.. not spur gear. auto verdi, dailey, weaver barnes etc etc.
  20. cool! that solves that then. pics would be awsome. ps. im asuming the pump is going to spin 1/2 engine speed?
  21. hey all. im after some pics and ideas on a dry sump design for rb26. after much searching ive not had much luck. i need to know what sort of bracket setup will work for drivers side mounting of the pump. and more importantly, will the more common chev pumps be able to be used on the drivers side? etc etc. ive got some acces to some auto verdi nascar pumps... thanks in advance ps, how many stage is needed, i was thinking 4 would be heaps, but can be done with 3?
  22. ok cool. just gotta figure out how im going to fit my s372r borg warner turbo in there...
  23. so, rd28 engine mounts solve the bonnet clearance issue? or is there something else? ive tried reading it all but no definative answer.
  24. yes having two adjustble ones should get you out of trouble, must have adjustable cam gears so the timing is corect. worst case you can try and find a smaller lower idler pully.
