  1. if you want a thouough tune you pay for it. ive always used dave from sas. there pre dyno check is pretty anal but worth it i think. ive not paid less than 700 in all my tunes.
  2. yeah, .8 open or a .84 twin entry. what ex manifold you got?
  3. im mean when your thrashing the car they do sweet fa in cooling the oil. the gts4 one is angled to suit the front diff. and when a sandwich plate goes on its much easier to work with. but you will need the 26 block fitting. basicly the same but without all the hoses and cooler in place..
  4. no. your fuel pump is no good. or its supply. stick a guage on it and take it for a hit. deffinatly nothing to do with the tune.. mine was done in similar heat. no drammas at all in freezing gouburn
  5. dont do it. they simply do not work when pushed. if in dought use a rb25de gts4 oil filter block instead. if its in a gtr.
  6. that would be an interesting machine. whats a conventional iron/iron or alloy/alloy line bore usualy cost?
  7. any garrett turbo repair shop.
  8. tee it to the stock boost guage sensor. with the valve get it from the charcol canistor vac port in plenum (near the throttle body) not of the intercooler plumbing, it will give you a much more stable control..
  9. you are inconceivably gay!!! what scare me is what else you got hiding on your compuer <_< lol. ps.. no luck with bathurst hire. someone must of made that up at the 12hr..
  10. now do we all have a copy of the skyline "it was...." handbook? hahaha ive got 2 sitting in the garage fronts, no luck. got the "good" gearbox in it yet?
  11. yes. the gtr and 33 gtst are the bigger ones. usualy the nismo diffs come with sleaves for the small bolts..
  12. my aim is to have the hoist free at work should anything happen
  13. happy days. no yeah i will get there friday after work. aroung 5.30. lol. im to used to "normal" race meetings.. got clipsal next weekend and half our cars are still in bits. paul, we you having me on when you said you could get me in on sunday <_<
  14. shwitzer ftw
  15. cool. thanks for clearing that up.
  16. i will be there as residant grease monkey whats ticket costs fri sat sun?
  17. nice stuff! will be a monster
  18. ummm what did the rest of the ship look like! damn.. i would hate to be in that engine room! some really nice material but!! 100k a rod?
  19. 18,s for a 35? hrmmmm. our old improved rodution ek civic does 18,s with a mighty 115fwkw
  20. bolts are the same. m14x1 axles wont. you need the "nismo" stub axles to suit your driveshafts. as the nismo diff will have 31 spline and you dont have 6 bolt flanges.
  21. perhaps the wrong type of porting was to blame.. bigger is not always better.
  22. what is your boost controller. if it cant make it make boost then id say youve reached the limmit for the turbine side of your turbo.. ps.. how did you get 270,10.25 cams in a rb25 head? i take it has some sort of solid lifter conversion? from the sounds of it the cam timing may be out.. but not 100kw out. post up a graph.
  23. pffft. whatervaa......... just anticipating someone thats prepared to spend 6k on a rotating assembly might want oil squirters. not me but im not everyone. just have a japlish disclaimer, oil of the squirter instalation faliure...
  24. read the nisan workshop manual? yes. if the girdle is perfectly aligned, no probs if the crank is at factory size and not an auto, and every block is differant, a thou here a thou there... i can see this being an issue. unless you supply a full range of NISSAN main bearings. you could supply instructions on how to use an oil stone if it goes in to tight. but what if it goes in at 5 or 6 thou? im just saying that there needs to be a way that the girdle can be adjusted.
