  1. nothin a artline pen cant do hehe. besides i love burning my hands on freshly linnished pipes... lol
  2. yeah. marking the pipe out acuratly is the hard bit. and clamping it once youve made one cut is the hard bit too. with the mill, what tooling is needed. ive a manual one.
  3. gcg sell them. sard ones. biggest piece of shit banana ive ever bought. at $160 was expencive aswell. my recomendation would be to get one from kyle from 6boost or that dude from extreeme turbo manifolds down south.
  4. try using stainless mig wire as filler.. uber small neat beads. my 25yr old transtig 150 is pretty awsome. with the foot pedal its sweet as. but doing ally it pulls 39 amp tru the 240 volt socket..... love doing laps to the circut breaker
  5. yeah. id want a pic of the failed rollpin and the shaft/ fork it went into. that will tell the whole story. but at this point trust is requird from them to be honest. oh thats if it hasnt gone tru the gears. for it to fall out it would have to be only gripping the shaft. not the fork. and and its being used it would of been hammerd and eventualy lost its tension either way if it wasnt tigh enough they sould of noticed during assembly. like putting a rollpin into an oval burred up alloy fork is not nissans or your fault. good luck with your negotiations. dave
  6. yes. direct fit. but has to be a rb turbo box with the double synchros.. box length is irelavent as your not changing the main shaft. s15 getrag will not fit. completly differant.
  7. bear in mind that the pull release bearing is more than hunded dollars im pretty sure... a workshop not wanting to make money.. wich there is none. will take: remove box 45mins r+r clutch kit 15mins clean and install box 1 hour. flywheel grind ~$70 there is no need to drain any oil. any confidant shop will block off the attessa hose. and worse case it 1 litre of auto fluid.
  8. will there be enough room for the oil squiters? not that everyone runs them but...
  9. ahah yeah. was driving home and thinking of all the rb,s ive built and it reminded me that every one ive built had to have a tap here or there to get the 4 thou..
  10. higher lift cams and diferant cam timing. better intercooler and bigger turbo and higher comp ratio
  11. ok, compare that to a friends one.. if yours has less then its a posibility.. they usualy come with cam gears from japan aswell.
  12. cool! hey so with these fancy uber strong billet main girdles, how does one adjust the endfloat of the crank if they are all tied in with countersunk bolts?
  13. very cool! excuse my noob question, whats an autocad?
  14. yeah. give it a really strong flush with a propper radiator flush. but leave it in for about an hour and go for a easy drive. flush it out heaps. and just use plain water. check it in a week or so. very uncommon for head gasket. can be the oil cooler. unlikly its a porus turbo cartridge. use a really light oil next change. it will exagerate th issue if there is one.
  15. what vacume does it have at idle? not on your stock guage but your aftermarket guage..
  16. "most" common is to have the rod hole missing the actuator by the thickness of the rod it goes onto.... ie you have to stretch it the thickness of the wastegate flap pivot to get the actuator to go onto the flap... make sense?
  17. yeah. genuine is best. dabs of threebond under the cam caps is a must aswell. you are talking about the camshaft seal? not the valve stem seals?
  18. you have abs? need to know as they are differant.
  19. english? if you have said hr31 coilovers they are worth good money.. 1k+ (opposite if you need any.)
  20. hahaha yeah i run the 2.. cant go past them. no surge at all. evan 1 worked better than 2 hks ssq ones..
  21. yeah go the dirty truck turbo! hey i almost had a heart attack when i opened the box of my new bullseye power s372!! its massive. im a little worried but we will have to see.
  22. yes its hard for peeps to believe that bits of turbine wheel can make there way up thru the ex manifold and f**k the pistons, it happend to me. while it was on limmiter.... needed a 40 thou rebore to get the scratches out.. this was 2 weeks after i paid 7k to sss for a 33 motor 4 years ago while i was a 4th year apprentice.. needless to say im still paying of the refineanced loan oh and it was on 10 pound! luck of the draw with the ceramic turbos..
  23. cool. just put your stock bovs back on for petes sake!
  24. woops. thought it was an atessa question. my bad
