  1. awwwwwwwww. megga post
  2. yeah, mine probably f**ked. 2nd-3rd is just a pain.... but it was secondhand and i learnt to use it aswell.
  3. ok. just for refferance here.. on a standard rb26 no oil restrictors and stock turbos ie: not much power i installed a mechanical oil pressure guage and on a straight flat road, with the oil level on the high mark, from a standing start (fast take off but not a launch) the oil pressure was surging the whole way thru first gear and partly in second..... and this was a 220-240rwkw gtr. it took an extral 800ml to stop it surging in first gear... so if you have good power without any sump mods. (tomie bafle does nothing on acceleration) you will have been surging. so if this is so, your engine would of been ingesting foamed up oil.... not no oil, but badly airated oil. and yes. seeing it all is the only way to tell. but if the bearings are all the same, im guessing its an assembly/start up fault. if the bearings are worst on 1 and 6 bad on 2 and 5 and ok on 3 and 4 (see the pattern) its oil starvation. if its the opposite or just one or 2 like that with the nearest main bearing also dammaged its dirt.. my guess anyway. need to see all the bits..
  4. thats ok. os giken make hollinger input shaft spine clutch plates and centre hubs. i did this with my ppg and r3c clutch combo. the box is good. just make sure you replace the 5th selector fork shoulder bolt with a new one. i bought my ppg secondhand and stripped it down and found it has worked its self loose. everyone uses these over here as they are less than half the price of a hollinger..
  5. interesting.. so has anyone put 26 buckets and shims into a 25 head? if so whats needed to do this?
  6. wow. thats the same response as annas t04z at the moment with no tune change.. i strongly suggest you get an ecu without airflow meters. powerfc + z32 afmx2+injectors= $ or haltech + injectors = $ makes plumbing alot easier and your not counting on 12year old airflow meters.
  7. ok cool. 128mph isnt slow. but regardless.. im not talking about the 180 but the 600hp 33..
  8. very impressive numbers.. i need to get valve springs..... stopped making power past 24psi and only 5hp differance from 22-24psi
  9. thats great! so lets see it then? after you get it blessed of course.
  10. im just wondering how you can get that power with a gt35.. your 850cc injectors must be right on there limmit. stock valve spings and 30psi? and standard cams. got a dyno sheet so we can have a look?
  11. do you have an oil pressure guage installed? not the standard one? is it a 26?
  12. awww. what dyno was it? sounds like a usa style inertia dyno.. i forget what they are called.
  13. i used trust/os pistons. at 1.9thou they are fine. but i didnt like the fact that they came with no ring spec sheet. and was told but the trust dealer at the time they are gapped to suit the 1.9thou bore..... done 50,000km at 1.6 bar no drammas as yet
  14. oh ok. yes. just undo the cooler it and rotate it if it spins..
  15. so you ran the motor before without the plate? either the main power wires on the starter are backwards or its an alignment issue
  16. oh. and the "specials" rolling up with the crank collar $125 and the part listed for $100... anyway...
  17. ahhaha check-mate
  18. perhaps spacing it out so the starter isnt over shooting the flywheel and installing the backing plate so its located and aligned properly and not gringing on the flywheel but engaging the ring gear.. just ask yourself. what different to when it was running last? just the plate?
  19. thats fine.. it would be balanced from factory. well to factory specs anyway.. but i would be getiing that grub screwed to get all the shit out of the galleries. scrape all the gunk out of the hole and have a closer look.
  20. excelent. all i needed to know. what did they have before that?
  21. if all else fails, bridge the solinoid to the main power pole on the starter with a screwdriver and see if it works..
  22. well? is it on? very common oversight.. starter is located in the bellhousing properly? the metal bellhousing block shim is on? (thin metal plate that outlines the bellhousing?)
