yes well. ask a few of the people who have a t04z on an xr6 turbo the differance is marginal at worst. just 100kw atw differance.
anyway........ do you want smooth power delivery, or do you want it to be abit more fun with more power that doesnt fall over at 8k.
if they are single hole. then they will have a fast responce. so easy to tune.
good headroom to have
who knows you might change to e85 down the road and if your want to make 350-400kw atw they would be good have.
yes, the "nismo shafts" that are supplied when you buy the centre are standard evan though they are differnt lengths????? must be only the new ones that have 30 spline shafts.....
as with all the diffs its just a matter parts swapping till you get it correct.
yes! that is the point. good to see diferant combos. ps. if you havent caught it yet i cant stand "black art" engine specs... each to there own i spose
hahaha wasnt having stab
paul. are they? cool. what i meant to say is non standard base circle. ie 32mm vs 30mm
no, spare head brad. usual story. cars of the road and im crazy bored!!!! damn rta killing my fun.
thats pretty awsome..
oh and with the springs its not all about seat pressure
and paul/brad i was going to just blend the intake squish band to favour the exhaust.... but i decided to blend them both. and i do know a thing or two about engines.... r and d = common sence.
cheeres.
ps. as far as i was aware all cams over 10mm have a 29mm base circle?
yeah. thats the conflicting thing. bigger duration giving more bottom end than a smaller duration...
the head has alll the runners smothed out on the short radius and the bowl has been smothed and the exhaust port has the hump removed aswell as the hump above the guide, would be nice to raise the port but i dont have the time or skill and a suitable welder..
also the squish pads have been removed on both inlet and exhaust. (smothed into the chamber not completly removed)
using standard valves.
my turbo will be "on song" around 5k (35pound) and will be reved to 8500. (want to save the oil pump)
hahahah yeah you beat me to it, i rang him up and he was "i sold them yesterday.. lol
yeah sweet. already got the buckets. (for labour incured but not paid for....)
depends how long you want the oil pump to last or break in half. evan with a "good" balancer.... id say safly to 8500. if you have an external oil pump the sky is the limmit so long as the valvetrain can keep up.
its just keeping the oil pump together is the only real factor limiting you.
no they will not. you need the matching nismo stub axles. thats if its a nismo one,
unless you have an open (non lsd) r200 where you have to swap the stub axels left to right
could be out of a early dr30. as far as im aware all the diffs hr31 onwards used 12mm bolts. exceps the silvias. and when you get a nismo diff it comes with spacers for the bolts. the opposite of your problem.
what was it out of?
as the topic states, if you have got over 400kw atw it would be good to see what has been tried and tested.
simple mods list: turbo,cams, boost.
