yeah some say synthetic. some say mineral. my coliege from work is best mates with frank modena.. he uses castrol lsx90. he found the synthetics dont have the film strength or a friction modified mineral. but the mineral doesnt take as much heat and should be replaced more often.

umm. a rattle is very hard to diagnose without knowing where it is. using normal 15 dollar 20w-50 oil in a 26 is abit alarming. when you listen to it at idle slowly bring the revs up by hand. it may get louder, worst case its a bigend, at the other end its some fan belt issue or a loose fan.

OWW coming along now just be wary of the sump fouling on the sway bar. some do some dont. not heaps but nothing a block of wood and malet wont fix

well just purchase my bosch 363 v8 supercar injectors.. just serviced and made way for 1000cc ones. thety made 315awkw on 80% duty.bosch list there flows at 2.7 bar and in grams. so doing the math there 650.1@3 bar. but they have a 14mm o ring boss for the fuel.. where as standard is 11mm. to do it properly a $50 aftermarket fuel rail is needed.

yeah. just like anthing. it cost money to go fast. and to do it proppely in a gtr is expencive. particlary brakes and suspension. a lighter car will be cheaper to quick round a track, but lets face it just not as fun

yeah at the end of the day, with scipioni in charge its only gonna get worse. and your attitude is very important. if your a dick then they will take you to the cleaners. if they hate imports (not all do) then you are really at the descresion of the cop. very important to keep an engineer report in the car at all times. because most highways arnt exacly confident mechanicly and dont know what or why the "defective" part is or does. like my external wastegate screemer pipe being a blow off valve lol.

i knew this was going to eventuate. everyone on this forum present your car at sims metal. as your all guilty of rekless driving,dangerouse driving and street racing. and figurivly speaking of corse. anYone who has given it a "hit" is who im talking about. just think about that for a second. remember back to everytime you have ever accelerated quickly. ie: 1st to 2nd.. then picture a very angry biased higway patrol car being behind you EVERYTIME you have done it. im pretty sure most of us would be in the shit. the point of that statment is to highlight the fact that the police have just gone to hard on everyone in regard to street racing type offences. all this proposed law will do is further seperate and remove any ounce of respect for the police. canceling rego etc etc is a better option im my opinion. remove the car,remove the problem. but without causing potential mass upraw in the car comunity. either way. if you are caught for legitimatly racing then more seveer penaltys should be in place. the problem with the laws is they only have one scale of street racing. same for giving it a short burst as attempting max speed. there neeeds to be a scale in place. and the laws dont allow any police scrutiny at all. end rant.

one has to define "street racing" and i can asuure you its not as "literal" as the title suggests. speaking from close experiance a while ago i got caught taking off quickly from a set of lights. not racing anyone. just beeing a dick. i was charged with burnout,dangerouse drive,street racing. i ended up pleading guilty to neg drive after they added it as backup charge. so.. eavan a slight "agressive acceleration" could result in a street racing charge. and the way its heading all "hoon" related charges. oh and by the way.. for those who listen to the radio this proposed "law" is not going to be followed thru as yet. as discussed it has been rejected by the upperhouse as destroying these hoons cars is destroying the property off banks and lendors. and therefore bankrupting the said hoons. and destroying the income of the banks and lendors. so.... its financaly not fiesable. sory mate. your nazi extreemest scipione police state will have to just keep ramping fines up and ruining lives of good hard working enthusiests like myself who admitadly do make mistakes on occation. this will ultimatly lead to workshop suffering from lost business as people will be to scared to drive there cars letalone modify them. and to properly prepare race cars is not cheap.. no group buys here fellas. 120 an hour minimum.
