  1. oh update. we changed from ds3000 to pfc 01. and picked up 3 seconds at easten creek in the supra. purly just from confidance in brake feel and there modulation ability to not lock up.
  2. yeah they do f**k all anyway. unless they are weled and made from 50x50 steel.
  3. old car, also a car that has been driven hard will have softer seals,hoses,and just generaly abit worn in all the hydrolics. also using a "performace" brake fluid also softens the seals making the pedal soft aswell. unfortonatly there isnt much to do about it. sometimes its air stuck in the abs unit. and sometimes its just a case of soft seals. new pads feel soft untill fully bedded too. using a bigger master cylinder is a option. but you have to swap over the proportoning valve in the origonal cylinder or you will crack rear disks and or overheat the fronts. oh and pad knock off from wheel bearings is pretty common. especaly if you have bigger disks fitted.
  4. yes they are standard items. the larger opening in the bumper does nothing. (well not from factory anyway)

  6. ok guys. wonder why its not making boost? heres what happenss whenj one turbo lets go. the one turbo that is working instead of making pressure in the manifold it blows straight out the front of the blown turbo. cos its not turning. would be pretty easy for the ecu to get confused with air blowing out one afm and in another... then again.. i dunno. it just looks like a blown turbo. a leak that bad would make it stall. check the intercooler piping on the passenger side onto the coller. they tare often if the engine mounts are weak.

  8. what is wrong with the case? and russ, what part broke and destroyed it? mine arives tomorrow and il be inspecting it. just while its semi in bits i can replace the suspect bits :0

  10. yeah. 26 with a gt3037. run 1.4 bar get around 400@wheels. full boost from 3k and smooth power delivery so very user friendly on the circuit.
  11. i would think that youd get slightly less lag. but more backpressue so it would be a waste of time.
  12. yeah evan the pwr ones are pretty resonably priced. except the spal 16" fans hit the tubes. nice. (with there spal mounts) lol. lucky it didnt put a hole in it.

  20. yeah. no aircon crusing round. 80-85 aircon on. 85-95 oil temp cruising sits usualy 10-15deg hotter. on the track can get up to 150 if yoyr trying hard

  22. yeah. if it does it when its not moving then yes. its a clutch issue. and now its f**ked the synchro and selector sleeve on 1st. so you will have to just put up with it till you get a new clutch. you do let it rest for a few seconds before you put it in gear? if not thats relativly normal if you just foot on clutch and bang it in gear. if you put your ear on the shifer while its running you can here it spinning. put the clutch in and you should hear it slow down and stop. that time is how long you should wait till you put it in gear to avoid crunching
  23. excelent. cos i find on sweeping corners it just frys the rears and the inner front. chopping out tyres real fast. so really if it reduces wheelspin on the track it would pay for itsself in using less tyres
  24. yes. the 33dtr uses 31 spline flanges. where your one is 29. the yes the six vs five blot style. you can use gtr shafts but need to get hicas 300zx turbo hubs as the outer spline on the shafts is much bigger.
