  1. well that was a nice smooth process
  2. cheers dude. awsome
  3. just for referance. i used bosch 650's. with poncams. at .85 bar they were at 75% duty. (i was aiming for 400kw.) with standard cams on 1.5bar they were at 80% putting out 315awkw. and these are 100cc bigger! id be safe to say 550's on 100% would strugle to safly make over 310.
  4. like all moving parts fatigue kills. yeah thats actually a chev. but an inline 6 without a full counter wieghted crank is about as worse as it gets in terms of vibrations. especaly with a lightened flywheel.
  5. wow. thats a very impresive power and torque figure. how does it drive off boost? much loss dow low compared with the old setup? oh pretty please can you post up a comparison dyno graph of your old setup and this one? ps. after i find a gearbox (smashed inputrshaft)its valvetrain im doing next. 1.5bar and 8.3k on stock springs isnt probably very smart of me...
  6. yes exacly. its the revs. but more so power aswell. if you have a look at the graph it clearly shows all are ok up to 7k. and after that the vibration goes of the chart. not saying the ross one isnt any good. just they dont say anywhere that i can see that they actually absorb the vibrations. and as for powerbond. wel.. i will take a pik of the race one thats used in v8 ute racing on a gen3 with FACTORY rev limit with reduced power from retarded ignition. there is a good 6 degree whip going on at the crank. the circlip that holds it together has a nice grove with witness marks showing exacly how much its shaking. its really just an insurance. just like buying a set of conrods. for that power leval. they might not break. but if they do...
  7. well chances are the ball bearing is lost. if you put a ball bearing in it you will be fine.
  8. hey guys. i need a stronger gearbox for my gtr. anyone have one??
  9. not without modification. im flexible on the price because of this. just dont rob me.
  10. hey all. i got a set of 6 bosch 363 low impedance injectors for sale. good for up to 350rwkw. freshly cleaned with new filterbaskets. they are 650cc@3bar. 14mm oring for aftermarket fuelrail. or can be jammed in the standard rail. with smaller orings. (in mine for 8 months on the stock rail.) asking $600. no rediculas offers please. these were $160each less than a year ago. and are the same injectors used in v8 supercars
  11. pitty i smashed my gearbox on the way home from work today
  12. sory i missed out. would of been good to go
  13. hahahahhahahaha this is funny. put it on the dyno and see. you gain therortcal hp. but loose torque. and to add to that the old saying..power sells cars torque wins races.. btw we are mayby talking .1sec around a race track. mayby....
  14. and its this twisting motoin that kills oil pumps. and on some old engines breaks cranks
  15. and heres the comparison with other "performance dampers.. notice why its important to have a good balancer when going for revs....
  16. the ati one is documented to acually reduse crank whip.
  17. cool. i think il just get some springs to suit 11.4mm lift. just for any futre camshaft mods.
  18. the biot stuff looks the go!!! brembo aus wants. 500 for each caliper bracket. 575 for each rotor 500 for each brake hat. then theres the calipers lol.
  19. ahhahahahahahahah just like all the other garbage that comes out of china and tiawan that have "is9001/9002" aproved etc etc. doesnt mean shit. it it is is a simlpe "manufacturing" guideline. just like workcover.
  20. for the record thats not a dr30. its a hr30. and worth significantly less.its not got a fj20 in it. also check behind the front struts for rust in the chassis rails. (where the brake hose is)
  21. early type is 3.9(manual turbo fj) facelift is 4.11 " " " " " "
  22. i have two COMPLETE dr30 coupe doors with regs, glass trim etc etc. (black red) manual windo regs. also some unfaded hotplate's (early type)
