  1. is that like one of those "electronic" bleed valves, that uses the propper soilinoid but just sends it a constant duty cycle so i sounds like a jackhammer in the engine bay with it turned on?
  2. profec b boost controller, 1 bar actuators and that should do it. also lift the lid on the airbox and after to see the differance.
  3. good to see my hks turbo kit is going to good use. funny thing is now i want a m35.....lol

    Side Pipes?

has to be more than 30cm from nearest opening. ie door jam/window. behind front axle and be legal sound limmit.
  5. the ones with the remote canister are rubbish. the nornal ones are much better.
  6. the idler is a good idea. it just stops the flapping happeneing. thge gibson set up is the best. but requires alot of differant parts.
  7. i have seen the same issue with the "good" balances. ross fuff bond/race series, and ati. you really have to have the belt very tight. because the ps belt hub is un-dampened. hense will fly off when there are any harmonics produced by the crankshaft. just have the belt really tight.
  8. head bolts are differant tension. 11mm vs 12mm. crank bolt is 180nm, apart from that all same. vct cam bolt 70nm.
  9. yes, the current draw is an issue. i take it its a planetary gear arangment? with that current draw it would have to like a 4hp electric motor.. 3.6kw
  10. what rpm does the electric charger do?
  11. himni is where i got mine from. and a bonus is they have the dump pipe vband sorted with sizes from 3,3.5,and4"
  12. 400kw is a pretty big ask for a 60mm turbo. but if he says so go for it. fyi the whissle you can here is 4-8psi. then you cant really here it.
  13. the 9179 has the cut back wheel. the 8875 has the same wheel as the 8375 but with "cupped" blades instead of straight.
  14. from what i have read, the 8875 is a gun turbo. but must be orderd with the .91ar twin entry housing for best results. when the dollar gets back up il prob just get one anyway... lol.
  15. thats who i use. the only place ive used where the bends are actually ROUND when cut in half..
  16. fyi 8375 = s360 8875= s362 9179= s366. i have a s372 bulseye. massive turbo. heaps bigger then the 9179. being a s400sx frame. 5.5" inlet 3" outlet. 4" dump outlet.
  17. ok guys. just ran up annas car, 9179 .91 twin entry, 6boost twin 44's rb25, greddy plenum q45 tb 252 pon cam, type a tomie springs.splitfire coils haltech e11v2 25lb on 98 made 360rwkw. needs a cdi. could not get a smooth run out of it, had to gap plugs to 0.5mm also ignition timing not relly done yet. 10 degrees advance up top. was making roughly 10kw every 2 lbs boost. had some major surge ramping up till i turned the gain down on the boost controller. having the run start a 3k. all on by 4500. then it melts the tyres off... need to heat wrap dump pipe, teflon wastgate hoses needed, and need to make a power steering belt guide for the pump pulley. any limmiter it chucks the belt off. (ross tuffbond balancer) if i had a choice now i would be getting the 8875. but compared to the t04z the 9179 has heaps more power coming onto boost. seems more torquey
  18. thought youd put something up soon.
  19. was going to get one, but we decided if this one was to laggy iid swap out for an 8875. so far the 9179 doesnt seem that bad.
  20. not dynoed yet. will post results.
  21. it is a not much differant than the t04z .84 split it replaced. definatly laggier in first. but once your moving its on par, just more power.
