  1. drive in/out 1.5 hours if you have all the tools.
  2. rb26 is tuned with throttle for fuel. map for ignition. there is not enough manifold to get the resoultion for a map only tune. eg. load rising can tune to a good 14:1 at a point but when lifting of or crusing at the same load point it could be 10:1 or 18:1. i tried to change my tune to map only but just was not as good a a throttle/map configuration. so to answer your question no you cant. and this is why the d-jetro is so hard to get correct. it may drive well and make good power. but put a wideband afr meter on it and it tells a differant story
  3. just do what the cp book says that came with your pistons. same for the fileback rings. p-b is around 2.5-4' ring gaps are top:18' second:20' oil:18' they should all need to filed. generaly out of the box they vary from 9-15'
  4. yeah same.
  5. check the turbo. sounds like it rooted a thrust bearing. (in and out play)
  6. yes. the nismo and all other twinplates use the small throwout bearing. off a datsun 1600 if my memory serves me corectly. cos its the big one it mucked up the pivot point on the pressure plate
  7. hi all. just wondering if anyone has any before and after dyno sheets showing the gains with using a hypertune manifold on a rb26? im interested to see the differances.

  19. at the end of the day its a matter of whether they want to bust you or not. if they do thats final. end of story unless you have 10k to fight it in a court.
  20. hahahha well if you want to be specific they are better in the wet than alot of tyres ive had. and while they are abit mushy they grip very well. and thats what the 40kmh school zones for ehhe
  21. yeah. i used to use the ute ones. we have a large stack of them all with abot 1.5-2mm left on them. generally this amount lasts about 2 weeks of normal driving up and down the m2 before they are completly smoth. pretty scary but. not bad in the rain. but at 300+ a tyre its just not worth it. thats what the spare rims with propper track rubber is for
