T04GTR replied to matt31's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
the guy fitting it is obviously retarded. that hose replaces the entire clutch line asembly. so... remove alll the pipes and the loop thingy. and put that braided hos directly from the master to the slave -

yeah tru. theres alot out there. wouldnt get a powr fc. run a map sensor one like a haltec or autronic. something with very good resolution. cos boost can mask a rough tune. -

Does Anyone Run A Screamer Pipe On The Road?
T04GTR replied to black_gtst's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
if they know what there are looking for screemer pipe = $9000+gst. fine. same as no cat converter. cos its a deliberate modification to miss the cat. most of the time they dont know what it is. they look at it and say "ahhhh blow of valve pipe" lol. i used to have one. it was cool but got anoying after a while. and i rekon if your car doesnt do tens its not worthy -
Stock -> 272 Cams = Massive Richness?
T04GTR replied to saliya's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
they need less fuel then heaps more. veiwing the fuel table its just an exagerated mountain side. same curves but the highs are higher and the lows ar lower -
Stock -> 272 Cams = Massive Richness?
T04GTR replied to saliya's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
bigger cams have poor cylinder filling before they start to work. i put in some 260 poncams to mine and had to remove around 20% at low load areas and 20% more once on boost. nice idle but when first started hehe -
yep. nismo,tomie,hks. all about 450 and direct fit

Brake Pads Users Ratings Guide
T04GTR replied to Snowman's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
there is a few diferant compounds, but the 01 compound is the most common for fronts. or ebay lol. i dont want to pay the 385 usd for a fron set hehe " PFC Performance Friction Compound Description and Characteristics 95: Ramping torque curve with relation to temperature, Good release, and good modulation. 99: Higher Initial bite than 95 (cold bite) ramping torque curve similar to 95, Good release and modulation. 01: Higher Initial than 99, Flat torque curve (no rise in torque due to temperature), Better release than 99 and 95 and better modulation due to the fact that temperature does not affect torque. This is one of the newest generation and the most advanced race compounds in the PFC range. Slightly higher bite and torque for the first 2/3’s of the stop when compared to 93 and 95 compound. At the end of the stop, 01 compound has less torque scatter for improved modulation with excellent release and a flatter torque curve. Very easy on the discs with very low wear. Can be used both on Stainless and iron discs. -
Dimensions Of Brackets For Radial Mount Calipers
T04GTR replied to djr81's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
well its 100mm spacing. and ofstet is usualy centerd around using a rotor with a 15mm hat height. most calipers that are radial mount have around a 50 mm ofset. its really a case of having your disc and caliper sitting on the disc with new pads and getting out the ruler -
Grex Brake Rotor Direction
T04GTR replied to Willo's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
ok put aside all the business of wich way the slot is facing. you need to install them so the internal vanes are laying back. like <--------- rotor direction, vanes = /////////// so the inside of the disc sucks the air from the inside of the diisc. but you would know as your buying an alcon brake package and have some idea on brakes -
yeah, undo your coils and replace them in reverse order

as far as the bracket goes it all depends what dics/had combo your using -
Dimensions Of Brackets For Radial Mount Calipers
T04GTR replied to djr81's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Well sorry about the title. What I am after is the PCD, spacing, & offset from the rotor centreline(in plan view) for the two bolts that hold the stock caliper onto the hub, or in the case of an aftermarket caliper hold the mounting bracket to the hub. The two are shown in this photo (Pinched from this very forum) just in front of the drive shaft. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION Piston Size: 40 (x2) mm. Piston Size: 44 (x2) mm. Piston Size Piston Area: 55.54 sqr. cm. Pad Area (Annulus): 62 (x2) sqr. cm. Pad Thickness: 18 mm. Disc Diameter: 355 mm. Disc Thickness: 32 mm. Hydraulic Threads: M10x1 Mounting Hole Centers: 130 mm. Mounting Offset: 55 mm. aka f50 or "granturismo" caliper or the "f40" caliper: except 38/44mm pistons both using this pad: -
I SHould clarify that the 34 ones use a bigger rear disc at 322mm and dont bolt right up. the fronts also are the same 328x30 but the calipers use a m14 bolt so you need to drill out your knuckle.
