thank you Lucien for this information i have checked and it looks full. i had the japanese translated on the lid and it says when the ignition is on the level should drop to between MIN and MAX and it sits just above so i think its ok. i dont know how to really test it unless i go out and try rip donuts, which i certainly wont be doing. the torque gauge on the dash is working fine still and when i boot it in 1st out of a corner it dosent really step out more than usuall it just does it in 2nd more than usuall i guess it may have just been the way i hit the corner. although could be clutches (I hope not) only time will tell. thanks alot though.

i was wondering can the 4WD system in a GTR wear down or brake? leaving it to constant RWD? i dont want the car to be constant RWD but latley when i plant it in second around corners it steps out and slides for quite some time. worse than usual, i am hoping it isnt somthing maechanical like the transfer case or somthing like that. could it be just my tyres becoming waurn? or is somthing going wrong? any help would be great.

well i have an R32 GTR and i want to try and find a set of brembo callipars to fit any ideas where to start looking, or should the original callipars be fine. i think the v-spec came out with them but otherwise i need them from a later model. does any one know it they fit straight on or will some changes need to be made?

id replace the coil packs or maybe jusrt borrow some i know what you said up the top but there is a first for everything and i had this problem once, i was driving along and bang it sounded like a rex, i thought it had dropped a cylinder or somthing, i got home took the cover off to see the coil packs tapped them a bit and bam up and running perfect and hasnt missed a beat since. although i still keep the alan key in the car just in case so it might be one of your coil packs isnt wright.

Al how hard do you think it is to find 20 or 30 skylines on the great ocean road buddy! And if you try cancel the cruise i feel most of the club wont just turn around and go home when they are already at Torquay!

ok i relise this post is going to cause some arguments between members and im sure alot of you are going to think im tring to stir trouble but im not. so here goes. This new membership business, im all for it but i do not think that it is fair to members who live in places such as Geelong, Ballarat, Wodonga and other country areas that are to far away to make the meetings at Whitehorse Tavern to have to pay for a membership that they are not going to recieve full benifits from. Dont get me wrong im sure you have a great night at these meetings but i am not going to drive an hour and half to sit and have a few drinks for a couple of hours and then drive an hour and half back so that i can get my 50 dollars worth of membership. For example the Great Ocen Road cruise is on this weekend and it is a members only cruise. well thats fine if you live in Wodonga and probably werent going to come anyway but for people who live in Geelong this event is a must as it is 5 minutes from where we live BUT im not aloud to attend cause im not a paid member. i think this is rediculous. i was at last years GOR cruise and it was really good. Not just for the drive but to meet other members that i probably wouldnt meet because i cant make the cruises in the Dandenongs and that side of Melbourne. If you want money then just ask for it at the event. its simple dont post the directions just post the first meet point and charge 10 or 15 dollars for the map on the day for people who dont have full memberships. I know some of you are probably thinking "your just a tight arse mate, just pay the 50 dollars" but this has nothing to do with money, it has to do with value for money. you dont buy a GTR skyline and be happy if it goes as hard as a VB commodore do you! well thats my 2 cents worth i apologize again if this offends anyone but its just my opinion.

well its time to decide what exauhst? i have an R32 GTR with just a 3inch cat back with stock dump pipes. i know i need to get new dump pipes but wat to get? 2.5 , 2 an 3/4 or 3 inch. can someone help me. i have also been triing to decide to get it custom made or just buy one off the shelf. my main problem is i dont understand the little boots just off the turbos! do i need to replace them as well or can custom dump pipes drop straight off the turbos with out the boots? any help would be great pics and prices thanks.

thanx guys really helps ill definatly be getting rid of the magnatec, and i sure as hell hope it dont get as hot as that pic. WOW

sorry guys this could be a silly question but i recently (about a month ago) bought an R32 GTR 94 model stock as a rock and loving it and 2 weeks after i got it, it was given a major service inluding , timing belt, oil, oil filter, fluids. diff oils, transfer case oils, everything and anything that could be replaced pretty much was. so any way i havent really been booting it as i am trying to adjust to the more of a race car feel then the luxury comfort feel (that my previous R33 GTST offered). But Yesterday i gave it a fair bit of stick here and there and parked for about 15 minutes then had a 20 minute drive home of average speed 100 as i live in the country and theres no traffic lights but pretty much no booting at all just like a normal sunday car cruising, and when i arrived home there was a funny smell and when i opened the bonnet the engine BAY (not just the engine) were extremely hot. the actuall stand that holds the bonnet open was to hot to hold. Now is this normal??? i notice that there really isnt much room for the heat to be released in the engine bay, but i was just cruising for a good 20 minutes so the cool air should of pushed through some where. just finally the oil that was used was that magnatec stuff, my dad says, cause the oil sticks more to the inside of the engine it could be holding the heat a lot more than a normal oil that will run down to the sump alot quicker. thanks all any help and advise would be greatly appriciated.

id like to add my 2 cents and we will all need to agree to dis agree here.... Firstly id like to say that it doesnt matter weather you are driving an 80 model corola or a 2004 Enzo Ferrari, if you want to speed you will and weather you are thinking about the consequences you will still need to take responsibilite for your own actions. Secondly i feel that the reason that P-platers and skylines are being so targeted in the paper is because there becoming so popular, it is simply the choice of weapon. At the moment you can quiet easily purchase a 94 GTST skyline for 15,000 then spend maybe a thousand dollars and you have yourself a 200RWKW machine that looks great and goes hard. this is the problem. Just think if the car wasnt so cheap then younger people wouldnt be able to afford them and they would just have to do with a normal everyday car leaving nothing for the papers to write about. P-platers please do not feel that i am having a go at you cause i to am a P-plater and owned a skyline 6 months after getting my licence, but i used it responsibly, im not saying i never speed, or that i never had any close calls (and anyone here who says that they have never put a foot out of line then your a liar cause you wouldnt own a skyline if you just used it like Miss Daisey) but there are limits, and you can never put a price on your life or more important some one elses!
