well guys heres my new idea. im sure its not new but id like to think so. hehe. Im looking at a R33 GTS4 (any help where i can get one would be great to). then i want to put a RB26DETT in it! sounds simple? to simple i think so i thought id ask the experts wat they think. so guys tell me will this work? wat problems will i run into? any help would be great thanx guys.

the car sounds great i just sold my stock R33 and would love somthing like this but i think the problem you might have is why would some one pay 29,000 for a GTST? thats the problem i feel that buyers today have! they would prefer to save a little extra for a GTR that may hold value a little better and possiably more reliable. (not saying that this package is not reliable) free bump anyways.

well im sure this topic has arisen many times but i need to know wat you guys think! it all started about 8 months ago im looking in the melbourne trading post and find R32 GTR $20,000. Shit i say to my self i go have a look and test drive sure enough i look in to getting the money and ring to see if car is still availabe couple of days later and SOLD. i kick myself for the next 7 months and 20 days untill, i find 2 more R32 GTR's for $20 to $25,000? what is going i know your probably saying thats just car depreciation but when does it stop. how will the final price be decided. there is no way in 5 years that a R32 GTR will be 5 grand and an r33 GTR $15 grand will there???

ok power to weight is a pain but here is what you need to weigh up??? 1st: how are the police going to prove wat KW you have? unless taking it to a dyno for you and as MSPEC said just blow the boost wright off! 2nd: if you are looking at practically any TURBO skyline you will be exceeding the power to weight ratio. 3rd: most of the GTST model skylines dont exist in the VIC ROADS book of power to weight its mainly the GTR's so unless the police no the convertion it will go by undetected. 4th: alot of ppl who get stung with power to weight are ppl who have alot of chrome and huge air pods and BOV under the hood, im not bagging these ppl but this attracts alot of unwanted attention when the copper asks you to pop your bonnet if your engine bay is neat and tidy most cops dont even know where the turbo is and will just give you a canary for to low. (no offence) 5th: and to some most important. wouldnt you prefer to be crusing a 300RWKW beast with P's on then waiting 3 years and being another one of those rich guys who dony know how to rev the thing past 3,000rpm and bought the car cause they saw it on 2 fast 2 furious? Thats my opinion any way no offence to any one thanks.

well its that time for a change and with three main options ahead of me i look to my fello skyline members for advice!!! well here it is, A) i currently own a 95 GTST skyline and i absouloutly love it but spend roughly $7,000 and it would be heaven, do these prices sound wright? GT 3040 600HP Ball Bearing Turbo (.82 exh and .70 comp) $2,890.00 TIAL SPORTS 38mm External Wastegate $695.00 Exhaust Flange $50.00 Modified Manifold to suit $690.00 Braided oil and water lines $220.00 Total price for kit $4,545.00 then probably $2,000 for a micro tech or Apexi power FC. so is it worth it? has anyone done this? what RWKW would i be looking at?? will my stock internals hold up??? option B) sell the car and begin settling down and look at a house and some other sort of future investment. or and i know this will be the most popular C) sell GTST and buy GTR! thank you for your time all opinions will be greatly appreciated.

First of all E-TAGS ok $10 and your part of one of the best crusies ever. most of the cars you drive are worth 20g's plus so dont winge. and if principle is the problem just forget it for one day ok. Next: Police are on the road all the time if there gonna pull you over they will. simple soulution dont give them reason to. third of all: everytime you pull your car on to the road there is a chance of an accident! as long as we all respect each other and other road users there should be no problems ok. the last thing id like to note is, i have not seen the MCCR notice bored nor the nissansilvia notice bored but i am looking at this cruise hoping for PLEANTY of hot cars and just a great day to meet other car enthusiests (spelling???) not triing to guess whos gonna be a dick head (excuse the language) and wat club they are from. i have no intention of offending any one with this post and i hope to see all of you on this cruise and it be a great day for all of us. thank you

just a simple question and i know most of you will be saying "Just refer to your tyre chart" but i cant read japanese is my answer! but i was wondering if anyone is running 18inch rims with 245 tyre width on the front of a GTST skyline??? Does it scrub? can you still get full turn out of them? i know i can tuck em in the back but i want 255's there! currently got 235's on and only scrub when i turn full right. but its not scrubben on the inside of the gurd just on some plastic on top.

Al: I refuse to edit my last post! im sure that the police have been very resonable with the past cruises that have been organized, i was not verbaly trashing the police but giving confidence to those who feel they do not want to attend this cruise in concern to being canaryed or fined, I quote "as long as you dont do nothing stupid they should leave us alone" is what i did say in my last post. some times they can be very resonable but also some times they can just be silly. ok. hopefully no hard feelings but this was just my opinion! 180sx_luva im sure if you wanted to ask some of your nissan friends to come no one shall have a problem as long as they dont be silly and have some nice cars, we did discuss at the beginning of this forum that it is not only about skylines but nice cars in genral. To all other members, IT IS OFFICIAL THAT THIS CRUISE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY THE 28TH OF FEBUARY 2004, and hopefully weather is great and we get a great turn out. there is only 2 weeks to go so maps and stuff are being finalized by Ash and the Snowman as we post so much appreciation to them.

Dear Mr Snowman, I really dont mind how we get to the GOR and i greatly appriciate the time you and other members are putting into this cruise. hopefully it all pays off with great weather and a great turn out. i ask one thing though, snowman you probably know where eastern beach is and i feel that this would probably be the best spot to meet all the melbourne ppl and geelong ppl it would be one hell of a photo too, having all these magical cars angle parked along there would be a sight for sore eyes, but its up to you. To the rest of the members cosidering this cruise, i hear alot of ppl saying they are concerned about the POLICE! well dont be as long as you dont do nothing stupid they should leave us alone. i can nearly gurantee they are reading through this forum all the time, so they will know all about it but dont let them feel as we are scared of them by saying (and i DONT quote) "if theres to many cars there might be trouble" or "the GOR is no good there be to many police" this is crap i say bringem on they might pull everyone of us up but imagine how much time they will be wasting half of em dont even know wat a turbo is and the majority of our cars will be pretty legal! If your scared of getting attention from the police then dont drive ever cause there always hidding in there little rat holes waitting for us!

ok there is no beef in this forum all i want is to see is 20+ cars crusin the GOR on FEB 28th. Yes as soon as the meeting points and times have been discussed we will post a new forum. as far as the date is concerned, as long as weather is fine the cruise will be on the 28th of FEBUARY

Dear TeeZnU, just wondering how correct your information is, as i have spoken to my friend whom is part of MCCR and i have also snooped into their site and looked but have not found any information regarding the 28th of Feb. I was just wondering how u are certain they are cruising....Never mind though, i dont feel there will be a problem even if they are cruisin on the same day. To the rest of the members, please help us organise by letting us know who's coming. We have just under a month, and the more people there are, the better the cruise will be. P.S. Please dont hesitate if u dont have a Skyline...I feel it would be a better day with more admirable cars than no cars at all.

After the current discussion on MCCR and their choice of day for cruisin, i feel it is time we find out roughly how many cars will be attending just so we have numbers in mind. R31Nismoid and Snowman wat r ur opinons on the MCCR and the current date of choice?

to the snowman and R31Nismoid , i feel that the majority have decided and we conclude by saying This cruise will be held on SATURDAY the 28TH of FEBUARY. (so mark your calanders ppl) Issue of camping the night i feel is a great idea nothing fancy just maybe some where to camp would be fine. although i feel we need feed back from other members just to see who is available. (mighten suit every one some may want to be back sat night). The meet point for Geelong cars will be EASTERN BEACH any questions just ask, most Geelong ppl know of eastern beach. Time is undecided still. A couple more things i would like opinions on, 1. If weather does not permit say 16 degrees possiable showers should the cruise be continued? and 2. will this be a SKYLINE only cruise??? This is a big question that i constantly ask my self "is it skyline only?" or do we appreciate the beauty and power of other cars??? All coments and critisism are welcome id just like to hear other opinions!
