    Melb so far...

Yeah mate stay away from CRAPLE Street...
  2. PIAA bulbs can be used for both high and low beam Not sure on what kit to get, the kit pictured obvously fits skylines not sure on your place as the distributor i spoke to told me what kits/bulbs i could get For the bulbs obvously H1 only... i was told if i buy 2 sets = 4 bulbs then i could run high/low without a problem ATM i only have 2 as lowbeamers as i hardly ever use highbeam
  3. Ok blahboy you win mate, this group buy died 3 months ago...i cant even get them for the price i was going to get them for.... BUT "However might be decent is an understatement", i suggest you buy yourself a set and test it against your current set... In my opinion PIAA shits on everything, just like anything its personal preference, id be happier paying the extra money knowing i get a ****ing good set of globes compared to other cheaper brands such as MTEC and your favorite Phillips I go on experience on seeing all brands and the PIAA outperforms them ALL in performance Read Some previous threads on xenon replacement globes etc Have fun in the end a globe is a globe its up to you what brand you chooose!
  4. yeah sure mate Ill just get my car back from the mechanics lol, then ill take some photos...
  5. Yes mate they swap straight over Theya re the best ones you can get...seriously PIAA = THE BEST thats why they are 3 times as expensive as other cheap imitations such as MTEC and Phillips etc If you need a set i suggest you type PIAA H1 in ebay.com and pick up a set for no more then $80USD + Shipping... I paid all together $110AUD to my door for my set
  6. I can located a kit for you mate, just have to wait a few hours till i get home lol, im at work using the net, if i get caught using the forums... A kit will only come with 2 bulbs therefore you cannot operate your lights on both high and low beam... youd have to purchase another 2 replacement bulbs to operate high/low, but how often do you use your highbeamers??? I.e you need 4 bulbs to run high/low OR 2 Bulbs to run ONE either Low OR high
  7. Definately can get the 5/6000k kits The 8000k kits are really nice i think youll find that the audis and beamers etc do have a slight tinge of blue therefore they could be using 7000k kits definately not 8000 as 8000 have just been released...like 4 weeks ago or so But it is illegal to have the blue tinge so its not worth the hassle, so dtry and buy a 5000 or 4000 kit....
  8. Ok to put it simply if you want HID Bulbs buy these If you want a proper kit buy the kit If you want to see the differences i suggest you check out a new beamer or Audi or merc with HID KIT and then see the difference on a random JAP or rice car with replacement bulbs! Youll notice that the expensive audis etc the beam is more crisp/clear and obovosuly more powerful The replacement bulbs which use the stock cluster etc is still bloody good compared to the stock yellow bulbs they are also illegal i think if they contain blue and they are obvously not as good as the HID KIT
  9. your answer lucien "Building on that, the projector headlight is a strongly desired part of a HID lighting setup, either by obtaining headlight clusters for your vehicle that use projector optics, or by taking a projector/reflector assembly and fitting it into your existing headlight clusters. They are not necessarily essential, but without it, you may get an incorrect beam pattern, with hotspots and/or areas with no light coverage (commonly right in front of you, where you need light most). It might also be possible that your light will be incorrectly aimed and dazzle other drivers" With the kits you get the proper SIDE projectors/cluster, run a search on previous threads on installations and differences etc, but essentially your using your stock projector/cluster with an aftermarket HID bulb which has been designed for the stock projector! therefore the projection beam can be weaker compared to a proper HID kit with the correct HID projectors and CORRECT HID BULB If you think its worth the extra $300+ $$$ then go for it, if you cbf and just want to test out the bulbs which do the job
  10. Mate its your decision my opinion is that the kits are a waste of money! Ive got the bulbs = great! If you want the kits i suggest you investigate it further as i think the REPLACEMENT BULBS do exactly the same job for a 1/4 of the price! 1 set of bulbs will cost you around $100 compared to a kit which is $450+ labor...
  11. Ive just got add on bulbs, seem to do the job EXTREMELY WELL PIAA are considered the best, and they are value for money REPLACEMENT Bulbs, IE TAKE THE OLD ONES OUT THROW THESE IN...simple If you want to purcahse a kit i suggest you investigate them, as i think they are a waste of money...when the REPLACEMENT bulbs are good enough! Frankly id rather spend the extra $300+ on something else.. Remember these replacement bulbs are 10 times better then the stockies obvously! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Check ebay for latest prices guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Search PIAA H1 YOU MUST GET H1...
  12. Whats the offset mate...
  13. Apexi GT Spec FMIC definately the best mate Pay the extra $$$ I had a choice between the 3 brands and i chose the more expensive Apexi, but supposedly harder to fit then the easier/cheaper straight bolt on Trust V-SPL FMIC Reading through other past threads helped make my decision I think you can buy a full kit from nengun for around $1500 not sure if it includes shipping
  14. ACcording to his pics it is manual Nice car mate...bloody good price aswell Maybe we should organise a group buy on buddy club p1 rims??? I know quite a few people interested in buying a set...
  15. 94 arent series 1.5 they are late 1995 models, nissan ran out of parts for series 1 in late 1995 so they used some series 2 parts to make up for the loss
  16. Nope series 1.5 are late 1995 models Come with some series 2 features
  17. Skylines arent that cheap mate...depends what model and what mods/condition Stock vs stock (r33 vs wrx2002) would be close, not sure on 1/4 mile times for the wrx But a R33 GTS-t stock does the quarter in low 14's And camaros just suck in my opinion lol...
  18. :goddam: :headshot: :cuss: :fight!:
  19. Exact same problem on my car mate! Its most probably bad oil, get it drained if you see metal filings and stuff in the drained fluid, your gearbox is ****ed, but have a go with some new oil if that doesnt work its your gearbox ...
