Just wondering how you guys can afford such great cars and pump so much dosh into mods? I work full-time and make OK money... but I still can't even afford a base model non-turbo Skyline. My dream is to own a Skyline.. currently I'm driving a 1989 "White Lightning" Celica (I've heard that only 150 were ever brought into Australia). It cost me $8000 and that was a struggle! How do you do it?! Are you all in debt or do you have rich dads? Cheers.

I need cash and so I've decided to sell my PS2. I only got it 1 month ago, but so far have not got the time to play it much. Dreamcast unit (fully boxed in excellent condition), Second controller (Madcatz), 2 VMU's (memory cards), MSR game (original) and 48 backup up games, Steering wheel, VGA adapter (so you can play on PC monitor). Skyline_racer thought I was selling an Xbox !! It's actually a Sega Dreamcast and it's still for sale.. It's a neat little console (smaller footprint than PS2) and would go great in anyones car. Can be modified (by inserting CD) to play VCD and MP3. Anyone interested?

It's just over 1 year old... hardly used.. excellent condition. I'm selling it cause I just bought a new car and need some extra $$$ and I don't really use it much. I loaded it up with music and took it away with me once.. it was awesome! I could listen to whatever I felt like... I had 40 CD's on there to choose from.. I'll load it up with music for the buyer (whatever genre they like)... I have loads of music thanks to cable.

Hey Dukie, I didn't mean to sound too "big-headed" in my last post. I just love learning how things work and doing them myself for the feeling of achievement... I'm sure you know what I mean. My new car isn't a skyline, so I'm not as worried as you are about protecting it.. but I think that you're right in wanting good, professionally installed security you know you can rely on. Cheers.

It's a DYI job.. which I don't mind 'cause I wanna learn more... Don't worry it's OK.. I studied Mechatronic Engineering for a few years and if I can built a control system for a robot, then I'm sure I can work it out. So.. you reckon that more expensive immobilisers are better? Or just have more features? OK... I guess you get what you pay for. Thanks.

Yeah.. it drive beautifully.. no problems mechanically. I gotta run.. going for my 3rd test drive right now! I'll let you know how I go.

Power everything, Sunroof Original condition, 130000 K's Manual, Flawless body - I couldn't find anything wrong with it (It looks like it came out of the factory only a year or so ago), Interior is very very clean. all for about $8000 with 1 week rego left What do you think? Would this car hold it's value 'cause it's a limited edition (300 ever made)? Cheers!

This is a little off topic, but can anyone tell me anything about the white lightning series Celica?? 1989 I think. Someone told me that there were only 300 ever made. Is this BS? What's so different/special about them? Cheers.
