  1. Hey Marc, Should be in Syd around mid-Feb Let me know if you have any questions about the car Cheers, Jay
  2. As I am currently on holidays my home email addy won't be accessible to me.... however SAU PM's are fine if anyone is interested in this splendid specimen of a car
  3. Well I am heading off on Xmas holidays to the US of A for a month So if this car sparks your interest in the meanwhile keep me posted and we can talk the sphincter of the universe in the New Year. You could also email me in the meanwhile if you're keen at: tony_montana@iinet.net.au Cheers, Jay
  4. Two important points here: #1: I might be shipping the car to Sydney with me, so all NSW people can check out the car in person #2: I am interested in swapping for an R32 GTS-T with cash on the side. Cheers, Jay
  5. yeah it took AGES to find this one... hence why i dont want to get rid of it... i spose i could live in it when in sydney... and maybe busk to afford food
  6. I would also consider "swapping" for a cheap R32 GTS-T in Perth (with the price difference being negotiable as part of the deal) Cheers, Jay
  7. Note: One of the tell tale signs of a series 2 R34 is the non-red 'TURBO' signature. Why nissan did this I have no idea.
  8. After just getting washed.... she scrubs up ok! B)
  9. Yes it's true! Despite finding the love of my life, I must now sell her in order to fund my move over east. Here are some of the details of the car. 10. This mod looks great! Just thought I'd ask if anyone had successfully done this on an R34? I would guess that it would be almost identical procedure? I have noticed that on the R34 boost is limited in 1st and 2nd gear, getting the full dose in 3rd through 5th. Would this mod "rectify" this boost cut in lower gears? Thanks guys!
  11. My 34 smells awesome! hahaha funny that this thread is up... i just got my car and its smells like new car smell mixed in with some degrading plastic smell Armourall prob brings it out a little more.
  12. I always wondered what the hell that mark was on my old 32's dashboard.. It was NA...so must have been SAT NAV or whatever.

    Pod Filter

isn't 'oil based' the pods that look like a mushroom? they are kind of foam-like and need to be oiled or else they dry up and crack and crumble..and usually come in bright colours like yellow or fluro-green. too much maintenance for me though
  14. JET correct me if im wrong...but i'm pretty sure you cant bring in an import s15 (assuming your located in oz) ...unless it was for CAMS racing only i.e. unlicensed. btw i am of the opinion that the GTT is the big bro of the s15 though some ppl may say i'm biased
  15. I too am about to face the same dilema in a few days....with my 34 The only thing i can think of is to take out the ballast and igniter and the globes (i think that is right) before it gets to the compliance workshop.... Now the only problem is that some compliance workshops are really following every letter to the T so they will ask you what happened to the missing stuff....to which I believe you are supposed to shrug your shoulders and act ignorant. Anyone got some solutions to this issue?
  16. I think Xspeed www.xspeed.com.au sell a ton of BOV adapters. Sure a workshop can knock u up a decent adaptor
  17. Wouldn't be a bad idea for some brand to target this compliance market and make budget priced tyres to fit standard skyline rims. Seems like there is enough market for them if this ruling holds up
  18. Sure I totally agree... I am fine with complying with ADR However I cant understand why they would have to be NEW tyres? I mean ozzy tyres are ozzy tyres whether they are new or old. BTW does anyone know why jap tyres don't conform to ADR out of interest?
  19. The situation as has been told to me sounds completely backwards. If you import a car with aftermarket rims you must; *Borrow stock rims *Purchase a new set of tyres to fit the stock rims So then you have yourself two sets of tyres for no f$ken reason. i.e. A set for the stock rims: which u must return. A set that you will need for your aftermarket rims. I spose the law is the law...but why should u need new tyres on the stock rims... it does some completely ridiculous...u actually need a receipt too to back it up! Can anyone shine some light on this matter?
  20. I am fairly new to the world of turbos... but my understanding is that unless you blank up the recirc pipe the car will stall (with an atmo BOV of course) heaps of ppl have atmo bovs... and they run fine. u definitely dont need engine management to run an atmo bov the only other prob u may have would relate to a lack of spring tension sealing the bov at idle. but u can manually tighten that up.
  21. Damn popular thread! Condensation would appear to be white smoke... similar to steam out the kettle (as an analogy) Blue smoke usually comes out of old bombs... and is more like a greyish blue if you can imagine. Well so many options... modding is so addictive... can't wait to start throwing $$ at my car
  22. sorry couldnt get 1st one
  23. Ah sounds pretty straight forward...just need an adapter kit it seems... Yeah i'm over the tool stage by now just cops usually target BOV's for some reason... one pulled over my mate in his integra and the first thing he asks is "Ok Where is the BOV"
  24. Just wondering if anyone had installed an HKS SSQ BOV on their R34 GTT and how easy it is? *Do you need some sort of adapter kit for it to fit? *Does it cause it to run rich by venting to atmo? *How quickly did you become cop bait after installing it Any pics of installation or even an installed SSQ would be greatly appreciated!!
