Call me stupid but i don't want a stocker, as the money shed into it to getting it where i want it to be can be saved by buying an already built one.. Realistically.. if i were to save longer and budget my finances to say 35-40k on the car would it be possible to import a late model 32 v-spec with some nice work done to it, brides, 4 point harness, oil coolers etc the works so that it would be ready for track duty? What would be my best market to look in? Im thinking j-spec or some local sydney tuning companies? not silly just make sure get one witha built motor if ya can. will make for a happy time in a gtr if ya want it with few more kw.theres been a few good ones on here for sale with some nice mods and power figures. good luck mate

A really tired R32 GTR is going to be a money pit. If you want a cheap to run and reliable GTR with no problems, get a mint condition low mileage R34 GTR, if you can find one. R32 GTR's are cheap for a reason.............. i also diss agree.as mine has only had water pump and timing belt which was dew on the 80xxxx mark. other than was still on the stock clutch turbos until recent time where i removed to install bigger and stronger parts. if u can find a top condition one and dont mind the few odds and ends to fix why not. its not maintanice thats cost me its modding the dam thing

yeh id say gtr just cause im a fan,have been on some quite quick bikes vtr sp1,cbr 900 etc as my dad owned them they where a buzz even as the passenger but he only ever rode them in summer or on very good days,hence the sale of them and he bought a wrx. my gtr would have cost me not a real lot sense i owned until i started modding it.just shop around and try find the best 1 out,do not rush in and buy the 1st one ya drive as it might feel quick but might infact be a bucket when ya drive a good 1. good luck anyways.. p.s a mate of mine owns r32gtr and he live at raaf base in richmond..

so true just about ticked all mine of for this stage..........

little tip-when ya get them ride round the back yard on grass for a little while that way if ya fall you wont hurt u or the bike! practice clipping in and out. its very easy and im sure youll have no troubles with it? by the way what sort of car you own? never seen any pics of one aye

for sure dan ya will mate but just got to stick with it... also doing a few efforts as we called them will help ya get ya heart rate up etc.say if ya go for a ride on the weekend where ya dont mind getting smelly,try doing some hard flat out efforts. how the clip in going?>???

yeh mate had a ball. as i said i miss it lots,specially how fit and well i felt...

youd be surprised how quick ya notice,had a few behind us warn the driver where tailing and he hits the trailor breaks,scary shit... but when we sit behind we get as close to skidding the front wheels on the bumper.. no word of a lie...

thats so much fun.i used to with mark renshaw and another mate,catch rucks up and town the highway running towards sydeny. hit upto 80 clicks. the go when doing it was to spin the smallest gear ya could,great legs speed training,although it is quiet illegal..

well when ya get sat back hard in ya seat... oh the pure sound of the rb engines

upto 30% i think when its a decent head wind. not 100% sure but. yeh rode along side lance armstrong in uspostal service team...
