  1. Got mine today. Welds look great. Hoping to have it under the car soon to test it out. Thanks
  2. Just a wild guess...but i think the "for sale" section might help you out mate. I think i saw a few floating around for sale on www.carsales.com as well.
  3. "I know I sound stupid but honestly I didn’t know" Not entirely stupid but..... this would mean you didnt really give the car a good look over before buying it hey? Who knows what else you might find out about your car, could be a ton of rust just waiting for you Interested in selling the coils? give us a pic
  4. Like OBNXSH said... just remember that they are stuck in their preety freakin tight and need a damn good tug to get out. And need to be pushed just as hard to be put back in. Just make sure you get them lined up properly before hand and then drop a good old knee down and they should pop straight in.
  5. I'll take a type b - r33 gtst thanks NV
  6. There is only so many things you can inspect while the car is parked on the ground. Taking it to a good mechanic could mean the difference between you buying a car that looks great but is full of rust/has been damaged in an accident OR a car that looks great and IS GREAT mechanicly. You see a whole new world once it is up on a hoist. Also dont be afraid to give it a good boost session. If the seller wont let you boost it up....ask him to do it. If he gives you some crap like "i dont thrash my car" then chances are he might be hiding shit.
  7. im 99.999% sure they are all the same No differences in the suspension arms etc either
  8. "I Dont think the market is down at all. More a natural depreciation thing as the cars get older the same as any other vehicle." If they are going down in price due to depraciaion then the market is technically down. Because they have hit that certain bracket of age where shit is getting old enough to need replacing on them than that is meaning the market is down. Put it this way - toyota sprinters were selling for a lot less a few years back but due to intial d, drifting, etc etc etc the market has gone up on them. Depreciation doesnt even really affect them near as much as skylines. S its not really like any other vehicle. Same could happen to skylines once they become a lot more rare and hard to find a un raped version. Wait....it is hard to find an unraped version.
  9. it took them a day to figure out that the oxygen sensor was stuffed What exactly was the problem in the first place? That might straighten things out becaase f**k paying over $400 to put a oxygen sensor in!!!! My mate got a oxygen sensor from nissan then drove over to a mechanics and they preety much handed him the tool to do it himself. Obviously they saw no point in charging someone for such an easy job.
  10. I would be checking the cylinders like others said. I've broken springs and shit inside them before due to my clutch at the time being very heavy duty. Also make sure your clutchs pedal metal bracket isnt bending etc due your new clutch being stronger....ahah i have also broken one of them once again due to a very heavy clutch.
  11. Also not anywhere near you sorry but will also gives props to the setup. My parents didnt complain about the ride when i took them for a drive with the kit so they must be quite comfortable! As for performance i dont think ill ever really bother going to coilovers since these work a treat. Sway bars a must aswell. They make a huge difference.
  12. Dont forget to disconnect the wiring for the brake light first....if it has one.
  13. From what i have seen now is the worse time there has been to sell an R33. They seem to be all hitting the higher km's and are VERY common in Australia. A lot of competition out there. Good luck with your sale
  14. Might be a silly question but do you have any of the centre caps off those rims? im missing one. Good luck selling your car, sedans are shit hot
  15. Fair enough. Only problem with the final konnection kit is the front bar looks super restrictive for fmic/radiator etc. The stock front bar looks like it would supply more flow.
  16. I agree with you. Monkey warehouse kit has a bloody disgusting front bar but the rest of the kit is....well not too bad. I know a mate who has one on his 33 sedan and it looks good but very out there. He did say it fitted straight on with no mucking around. The final konnection kits look a lot better tho, a bit less ricey. Personally i would get the side skirts and maybe rear bar and just fit a coupe front bar (i have a 400r bar in mind). Finding a front bar to suit the warehouse kit might be a little harder as it has very drastic shapes and would be hard to match up.
  17. interested but would need pictures!
  18. Hey, im currently having my water pump and timing belt changed while im at it and them guy doing it asked if i could get how much torque is used on the big main nut/bolt on the crank pulley? So if any one out there has a service book and can help me i would much appreciate it. It is for a non turbo Rb20de if that makes a difference. I searched but......the search isnt too great.
