  1. Like White GTS-T said... stiffer doesn't always mean better for drift. It will usually just result in you just being slower. At the end of the day any set-up that gets you to the track to actually enjoy drifting will be ok. Then go from there as you learn what feels right and what doesn't.
  2. Sydney Kid would have a heart attack if he saw this thread
  3. Probably easier and cheaper to grab a N/A 4 door and a r33 N/A half cut and make babies between them.
  4. Phil you better have it ready for March Winton so Gav and his 31 can rub your panels. Anyway, some photos from the last Vicdrift day. Props to JRM Photography
  5. R33's have coilovers standard.
  6. It equates out to around $325 not fitted or balanced for a pair. Ring a few local tyres stores and I bet most will do it for the same price fitted and balanced without having to go through ebay. Option One Garage can supply 235/45/17's for $270 a pair delivered. Save $55 a pair by going through them instead. What size rim are you looking at putting them on?
  7. ^^^ your doing it wrongggggggggggg^^^^^^^^^^^ Most rims (each rim is different, this is just a gernalisation) the wider and lower the offset you go the more dish it will create. A +45 9 inch rim will usually have next to no dish while a +5 9 inch rim will have a noticable amount. Remember this is just a generalisation as each rim differs - some create taper, some have different disk clearance etc et PM Nisskid and he will be able to tell you exactly what you need being a 32 4 door owner. Here is a link to my mates 4 door to give you a rough idea to work off - http://nissansilvia.com/forums/index.php?s...p;#entry5461524 There is plenty of infomation on here and nissansilvia for 32 4 doors and rims.
  8. Update: They are hand-made so group buy will not lower the cost but they are $165 a pair anyway which is reasonably priced. A deposit is required to autoworx with the order. Just waiting on some pics and further details.
  9. I will hopefully make some calls today or tommorrow. The guy was on these forums - vspecII I think. He owns or ran autoworx from memory.
  10. There is a guy in WA that makes copies. Group buy?
  11. Similar to these two. Can get pictures for anyone interested over the weekend. I have already put factory sideskirts on mine so just need some pods to finish it off.
  12. ^^^^^^^^Do you want to sell them or putting them on a car? I am after a pair for the sedan. Have an aftermarket rear bar for the sedan if any one is keen for swap or just to buy.
  13. Picture of said Mexicaness? NZM.031 is on the money, they probably don't need much work to fit and look good.
  14. I have had several 2 door exhuasts fit under my sedan... strange that it didn't fit. The only difference I have noticed is that they do not quite pretude as much as a 4 door one. Anyway, awsome price for an great exhuast.
  15. I think you'll find it won't. Different oil filters.
  16. Horsham in regional Vic. Far away from all the tracks and events
  17. Can't remember if the actual ball joint was any longer but the thread coming out defiantly is allowing you to run the 7mm spacer no worries. I have decided with how much it costs me to go to Winton the small amount of track time won't be worth it. Instead I got myself a unreal, super low trailer made up with the money. This should make attending a lot more track days in Victoria and interstate easy for next year. I will also hopefully be having a crack at DECA days as well now that I won't have to stuff around finding and paying for a dodgy trailer the week before an event. When is your sil80 drifter going to making the journey to the track?
  18. Good summary. My modified knuckles, cut lock stop LCA's and spacers are all in the car and aligned now. The lock is pretty incredible compared to stock. Won't get to test it at the track until December A note that I made in that thread is that you will run out of adjustment on your toe on the skylines. Well I did anyway. I installed some Ikeya Formula toe rods and this fixed the issue. You also need regular rack spacers (5mm ones) when running Nigels rack spacers. If you buy Ikeya toe rods brand new (I got mine from JIS for $250) they come with a 7mm set supplied as they have a longer thread than stock.
