  1. It was probably the most fun I have had at Winton. Tandems with mates are always the highlight. The 33 drove the 5 hours there, drifted all day on the limiter then drove the 5 hours home again. Lost track of how many times it has done it! The only thing that could have made it better was if the lazy bastards who didn't pre-enter were not let in and there for more track time for those who made the effort to pre-enter. There was no excuse really... it was plastered over all the main forums and the 70 other people all some how knew about it. I am all for the 60 car limit.
  2. Just got some new shoes for the 4 door. Didn't want to spend a fortune and these popped up at a decent price. Its not that tough yet but slowly getting better. Weds 17x8 +6 215/45 17x9 +13 215/45 Could do with a 6mm spacer all around and some serious low (the height really lets it down). Unfortunately can't go uber low as the roads to work everyday are quite hagard and getting it on/off the trailer every track day is all ready a hassle.
  3. Everything is explained on the day. Don't stress about all the small stuff. Have a read over the vicdrift website as there is plenty of info of what you'll need for your first track day then just get yourself there. Don't forget to just have a thrash and some fun on the day
  4. Yeah, last I read there was only 15 or so places left. Will probably be a full turnout.
  5. I totally forgot to mention they are a pair only! Hence the price. Also 5 stud obviously.
  6. ROH Drift R's Painted matte black centres 17x8 Unsure of offset but they have a large (almost like 30mm spacer) of metal built into them and sit close to the guard of a R33. From a estimate (no guarantee this is what they are, total guess!) I would say they are around +15. I have only slightly rolled guards on my 33 and they fit under reasonably well. They are not in show room condition hence "skid rims" and are little on the heavy side. I can throw on some used tyres if you want as well for skids for $20 extra. Would make good spare set of skid wheels for Winton. They are in Country Victoria (won't change location when I edit it) but can be delivered at buyers cost or to Winton on the 5th September. $200 *these links are not actual photos of them but gives you an idea of what they look like. Obviously they don't have as much dish or as sparkly/new as these pictures. https://groupawheels...k-(3_4)SITE.jpg http://www.groupawhe...R-BlackSITE.jpg How they sit on my 33-
  7. Like Russman said it's only good at a few tracks. If your thinking of doing more events outside of drifting at Winton(only drift track in Victoria atm), Cams and SAU membership is the way to go. Just a reminder as well - DON"T FORGET TO PRE-BOOK!!!!! numbers are going to be cut at 70 and entry on the day is not guaranteed apparently. It is also cheaper to enter early.
  8. Either that or just buy an AASA licence for $50 on the day. Vicdrift is AASA and CAMS affiliated.
  9. end thread.

  11. I think there is 5 of us bringing our cars over.
  12. MattD's advice should supply all the info you need. There is a Vicdrift event happening at Winton early next month.
  13. Not that I know of. It is fairly standard. Will try to get some posted up in here but give Andrew a call on the supplied number and he may be able to sort them out quicker for you.
  14. 1989 R32 NISSAN SKYLINE GTS-T Coupe Turbo Auto RB20DET 107,000 km's Rego til November 2009 The paint is a custom Aqua Marine (changes from green to blue depending on sunlight). It is hard to properly catch the look of the paint in a photo and is something that needs to be seen in person to appreciate. Also comes with a DVD player, cannon tipped exhaust and walbro fuel pump. The car is priced to sell at $7,850 and is located in Horsham, Victoria (about 3 hours from Melbourne and 4 1/2 from Adelaide). For any more info or questions please contact Andrew on 0409 561 652.
  15. You would think after so little km's they would be ok until new year but I am not a suspension expert nor have I seen them. There is a bucket load of information on here to help with your decision in suspension bits and plenty of time for you to research Can't remember if whiteline make an adjustable castor arm but they do make bushes.
  16. In that case $500 is not so shabby. Probably what most places will charge. I am not saying Fulcrum is no good it's just that have suggested your car is pulling left because of castor bushes but like you suggested it could well be the fact your toe is out. If you feel your bushes are actually stuffed and need replacing than getting them to fix them and get your toe/wheel alignment done at the same time is probably a smart move. Saves you paying for an alignment now then needing another when you replace the bushes in the near future. That is if they are stuffed.
  17. It shouldn't cost $500 to replace castor bushes even if they do need fixing. There are guides to adjusting the toe yourself and its not as simple as just turning some bolts. It has to be measured properly. Your rear toe is out by a significant amount. Hopefully someone can give you a name of a reputable suspension joint in Brisbane that can sort your issues out.
  18. You have not mentioned what offset the rims are or what tyres you will be running. Why the g-Max's? I would be weary of buying a brand of rims that does not even list their offsets on their website for their rims. They also state "This wheel is also available in 17x8 and 17x9 for Nissan Silvia S13" Great information.....
  19. No, probably a wheel balance and alignment if the tyres are still good. If they are shagged, yes, new tyres, wheel balance and alignment.
  20. Wow, let me get this straight. Fulcrum checked your alignment and got the above read out then explained your problem to be in the castor and to buy bushes off them without first simply changing the toe? Take it somewhere else and get them to correct your toe. The castor is fine. I hope you didn't pay too much for that "answer". Even if the toe does not fix it pulling (which it most likely will) your rear toe needs to be changed anyway. Tick off the simple solutions first. Go to a independent joint.
  21. ^^^^ you have got to be kidding. 1. It is pretty obvious he is selling two DIFFERENT wheels 2. That is a decent price... Most places sell them for closer to $450 3. If you wanted the wheel you would PM your offer not have the seller chase you.
  22. I'll post these two up just because I know how much Nisskid likes them and he is banned so can't reply
