The first problem your gunna have is fitting your GTR sump. Your sump will need an adaptor before it fits, but someone on the forums here does sell the adapters.

my mistake, I thought natho was looking for rb30e injectors as fitted to VL's. all aussie delivered common stuff at Upullit, so unless the bits you need were also fitted to something common like a VL or R31 4 door, youd be out of luck. Natho, what cc are the VL turbo injectors and what CC are the standard VL ones?

stronger crack bar required. you need one that wont bend too much. mine now has a custom 15 degree bend in it from when I did my front bolt!!!!

Do you guys still run the AAC on your engines. This would weigh 1 or 2 kg's?? PS I have another post on this regarding idle and drivabiltity if you have any comments about how it affects idle etc

hey everone super 26 is in the states....so he's gunna have trouble finding an aussie delivered R31 or VL commodore lying around. Super26 these things are common over here and cheap. If you can find a market for them, I'll fill a 20 foot container with them and send you 100 of them. Freight is a killer

You would need an awesome rattle gun to do this nut. mine wouldnt do it. Socket, crack bar, 1.5m extension and lean on it hard. They are bloody tight!!!!!

Has anyone experimented with not using the AAC unit on these engines? Can you still get them to idle nicely with a power FC. I assume with some of the other aftermarket computers people would discard the AAC.... Theres a helluvalota pipes under the plenum, and I want it to look as neat as possible while maintaining functionality. My RB26 is going in a hot rod where you will actually be able to see under the plenum because there are no bonnet "sides" so to speak. Any ideas?

Update. did the run around today and can get engine/box for $3300. Gunna try for $3000 and cross my fingers. This would make the complete engine $2000!!!!!! I have a mate that wants one but doesnt have the cash right now. PM me if interested or can supply me with a gearbox!!!

I have sump bolts and probably oil filter assembly. by probably, I've definantely got it the oil filter assembly, but was thinking about making up a new "trick"one. What they worth to ya?

I still want them without the posts!!! Can they get them this way? They should even be cheaper !!!!!(6 less welds)

The pics look very much like the ones I saw a few weeks back but the workmanship does look very good. amosite... have you actually seen one of these and had a close up look. do you know where these are made? I'd like a set without the posts for the heat shields. And yes very interested unless I pick up a set before hand
