E85 will always have lower economy than petrol, I've heard typical figures around 25-30% less economical than petrol. Plus if you're giving it you'll go through more anyway, the trick will be if the tradeoff is worth it (like LPG is much cheaper than petrol but you use more.. ). Plus obviously you need bigger injectors to flow enough fuel, if you're already running close to max when using petrol. Once you've got a happy tune on both fuels then you can do a comparison Anthony, drive it similar on both tanks and see what happens!

Your lambda should be the same, as you have said, but the AFR changes. If your meter reads in lambda then use the same number as before, if it reads in AFR then you will have to adjust your targets for ethanol. I believe stoich AFR for E85 is around 9.76 as opposed to 14.7 for petrol. Lambda ratio at stoich is 1.0 for both kinds of fuel.

^^ looks like your wastegate isn't opening fully either. A proper dyno curve for boost pressure should show the pressure jumping up to a set value as revs increase, and then holding that value. No higher. You are building about 8psi boost which is normal for the solenoid "high boost" mod. After that you're getting boost creep. I would fix it before hitting the track, if I were you. Toss the chinese knockoff shit back at the company you bought it from and buy a proper dump pipe

Time to take it to someone who knows skylines.. pushing oil into the cooling system is not normal, usually a blown head gasket is the only reason it'll do that. If the head gasket is metal and not sealing properly it could also be the problem, or a warped head. None of these situations is at all typical, RB engines are very reliable unless they have been abused at some point in their life!!

yeah, whta you have to do is find the line that goes from your boost juice reservoir to the turbo and crimp it shut with a clamp.

Does the knock sensor do peak hold and for how long? If it peak holds for less than a second then you have no hope of seeing the result on your multimeter because multimeters are quite slow to react. For tuning a multi might be OK but for general road use a bar graph will catch your attention better and can be seen via peripheral vision. You have to look directly at a multimeter to read it properly. Not a bad idea though. I would be tempted to use this kit with a PFC to cut ignition/fuel if knock was detected rather than flashing a stupid warning light and hoping you see it in time to save your engine.

Massa can drive he just can't race. Massa leading from lap 1 on a dry track with his car sorted is unstoppable, he just bangs in hotlap after hotlap. it's simple, just use <your favourite brand here> oil. seriously, any good quality full synthetic oil will do great. the minor differences are probably all in your head, the only consistent thing i notice is that the car seems to run nicer on FRESH oil. Tried Motul, ELF, Nulon, Mobil 1 etc... the only thing better than any of these would be an oil that reverses the wear on your engine and that ain't happening!

remove washer reservoir and undo the parker globe mount with needle nose pliers. no need to remove skin once you've got it sussed.

Yes, they certainly are a novelty... My R31 ran with no BOV, FMIC and apexi pod filter and made the filthiest fluttering noises you've ever heard. Sounded fantastic. I've tried the blanking plate on my R33 and the ECU does NOT like it. Pops and farts like crazy on gear changes, so I went back to standard. With the BOV blocked it definitely felt crisper on gear changes but the extra backfires meant it wasn't worth it.
