Hey guys, just trying to confirm something a work collegue claimed to have seen on a trip through the Adelaide Hills on Easter Sunday. Apprently he saw a massive crew filming an R35 GTR on a low flatbed trailer. A mate from work just got back from a trip to Adelaide, where among other things he went for a drive through the Adelaide Hills on Easter Sunday. He claims to have spotted a silver R35 GTR being filmed on a low flat bed truck, on a blocked off section of road. There were apprently Nissans parked all around, large group of asian men watching, large film crew and when he tried to approch he was not allowed past security. He was unable to get a photo, but did save the exact location on his GPS, I'll post it up as soon as he lets me know. I'm not sure how accurate his story is, I really want to know if anyone can cofirm it. Did anyone else see/hear anyhing about this??

Did you get a big white plume of smoke out the back? Does the car drive normally but just will not make boost?' If yes to both these questions then probably the turbo, but could be other things too. Take the dump off and have a look, if turbo is ok then you have a more seriolus problem.

You just purchased the car and are boosting "rarely"??? That in itself is a mystery

IMO 26 is overkill for 32. A 25 with around 250 makes a total weapon of an R32 Skyline for road use. Lightweight, very torquey and not too much power to fry the tyres if the suspension is setup correctly.

Worse for wear R33 GTR in at Primal today, apparently it had hit a wall @ Winton.

I would say take the whole thing out. But if you do try to hide it and they find it anyway you have 1 month to fix it before they take you off the road.

If you are allowed to drive a turbo where you live then buy one, they are around the same price as the NA's now. If you're not allowed to drive them buy a crap box until you are. Dont waste your time with NA lines.

No. Essentially its an unknown tune (which is bad) and it will be tuned for Jap fuel which is different to ours. Dont do it, get an adjustable ECU, dont risk blowing your engine.

Thread revival FTW! I have just started at Bundoora I've seen your car a few times Ras, never close enough to check for SAU sticker. Mine is the silver S2 R33 with silver 17's and SAU sticker on the passenger side quarter. Anyone else on here at Bundoora? I've seen a few lines getting about.

Water temp never got above 74 in heavy traffic with A/C blasting, and oil never got above 85. Running a bigger alloy radiator, external oil cooler and I believe a nismo thermostat.
