  1. Graheme did you ever have any experinece confiscating cars before this new legislation was brought into effect. Specifically the provision allowing vehicles to be confiscated if used when committing a serious indictable offense?
  2. Apparently you can also upgrade to larger injectors. Just a thought..........
  3. Corrcet info, that being said I have still been fined for this. It did however get overturned in court.
  4. I have a property just north of Woodend. Always take the road over the mount on the way up there, and stop in at the Mt Macedon pub. Awesome roads, some parts resurfaced recently. Gets a bit iffy in autumn though when wet leaves accumulate on the corners.
  5. An example how how a GTR should be modified. I love the stealth touches like EBC in the fuse box and keeping the stock air box in place with over 400kw. PM Sent.
  6. Only if you have candy paint and clear tail lights.
  7. Just a whole heaps of maintainance parts: Cleaned AFM Cleaned intercooler and piping Cleaned injectors New fuel filter Cleaned Air filter New 02 sensor PFC TUNE big differnce Correct spark plugs Coil packs taped up. Also changing my driving style helped alot, changing below 3k amd light throttle is the key.
  8. Cat? Do you mean car? Yeah saw the car, big bloody mess. But I think the reported speed of 150km/h may be a bit on the high side to be honest.
  9. It sounds like nothing compared to the City Rd Fatality on the fron of the Herald Sun yesterday, I drove past 30sec later and it was carnage.

    Thailand!

Ash can you please post or PM me the details of a good tailor. Cheers
  11. +1. Horrible looking thing!
  12. Easy solution mate, just take out your gear stick and fill it through there, I had to do exactly that its not hard.. Just make sure you dont get gear oil on your interior, that shit smells terrible
  13. Have you got the original body parts and wheels?
  14. Spotted a gun metal EVO FQ-400!! with CE28N's (I think) & SAU stickers rolling along Alexandria Ave in Toorak yesterday. Damn that thing looked tuff as!
  15. 100% correct info. Forget any other junk you may have heard, this is the right information.
  16. Damn thats sneaky!!
  17. The hotham rd is very dangerous, black ice, sleet, scenery to distract you, exercise extreme caution.
  18. I sent an email picture of two down syndrome kide sharing a milkshake in a park with a caption reading "my milkshake brings all the tards to the yard" to an email distrubution list with over 40 people on it. Lucky ofr me most of theme were in QLD and after bullsh!tting my way out of it I still have my job!
  19. Deposit taken. CAR SOLD!!!
  20. Good choice on South Melbourne bud, I live there Unfortunately there are no decent performance shops in the area, or anywhere really close by. If your looking for something specific or want to check out a certain shop PM me and if I have some time I might be able to give you a ride doen there. IMO though there are MUCH MUCH better things to check out than the car workshops in melbourne. Particularly considering the spring like weather we are getting ATM.
  21. I would strongly advise against that. I would consider myself a dedicated rider (I'm selling my car to do Whistler this NH season FFS!), but that is somthing I will only do once. Another option for a decent day trip is to just drive to Buller early, much around and come back. Its not too far for a day trip.
  22. If you're just going to have play in the snow got to Mt Baw Baw. They have more than enough snow up there to muck around with, and its the cheapest mounatin in VIC. And from memory its an easy drive from melbourne (I haven't been there for almost 6 years). It has NO night life however. Forget Buller/Falls/Hotham if you dont want to actually ski/board.
  23. I knew that would be your creation. Most unusual cars in that part of the street are!!
  24. I would try Buller mate, Falls/Hotham are a pain to drive to for a weekend trip IMO. And if you're just a beginner there will be more than enough terrain for you. Try staying off the mountain (Mansfield or Sawmill Settlement) if the whole mountain is booked. www.wotif.com has some good last minute specials which might help you out. Have fun mate, its the best (well maybe except for 2004) season this decade!!!
  25. I cut the snorkel and pop riveted some sheet metal onto it. It now sits on the cooler piping perfectly and still works well. I t was done to feed a pod, but will still work for the factry box. Check my for sale thread for pics if you like.
