Well I'll check the sensor and chuck in a new thermo this weekend. On the way to work today the car took 9 mins to get up to a temp of 65deg then it took another 15 to get up tp 72, so I'm hoping for a decent gain when i change the thing

OK, well I'll check it this weekend and see what I find. Even if its a cheapie/nismo/shagged could that really explain the fact i'm only getting about 300km in the city driving normally?

Cubes 72 degrees is too low? Damn! I do have a very large aftermarket aluminium radiator and breather tank setup, would that explain the lower temp? Grigor just got back from holidays mate, trying to get the road tune sorted but I'm going to be installing bigger turbo/inj/afm soon so I dont want to do another tune (unless I can get it for free) just before I get the goodies in. No doubt I would prefer an M3 with some sexy AC Schnitzer rims, but unless they drop in price to aroun 15k I'll keep my R33 quite happily. And prestige cars are very nice to drive (I have an E46 318i at home) but they just dont provide the excitement I want from the budget I have.

EPA only conduct their tests with the vehicle staionary. The problem you will have mate is that when you get pulled over by the police they can photograph your engine and note the mods, which you say you will remove when you get the subsequent date with the EPA. If this process repeats and the police/epa can prove (with those photos they take when you cop a defect/epa notice) that you are repeatedly failing to comply you can get a VERY large fine. My 2c

Well I dont think my coolant temp sensor is playing up because I can see the temp on my PFC controller, sits around 72deg after taking about 5 mins to warm up. This weekend I'm going to get the car on a hoist and do an inspection of all the fuel tank/line area, even though RE customs has already checked this I'm almost at my wits end!

If you split them up I'll take the front discs and pads.
