  1. Awesome news mate! Great to see people doing something new and different. I'm watching to see how the future tuning goes, hoepfully this will be a real option that can also sustain increased performance. Nick
  2. I'm interested, but your dreaming if you think people will pay $600 for a turbo that needs a rebuild. Also is it ballbearing or journal? Who did the original work? Any dyno sheets?

  4. How would I know if that is playing up?
  5. Well I picked up a set of of 255's from this place on the weekend and i'm very happy with the result. Tyres cost me $85 each fitted and balanced, they had totally even wear across the face and would be have around 70% tread left. They seem to grip alot better than the stuffed 245's that were on there before, however the were getting some major guard rub until I self rolled my guards with my club lock (worked really well). So all in all, a big for these guys.
  6. Its actually not that hard to pass providing a few things: 1. Car is tuned for the purpose of passing. (cant stress this enough) 2. Car has a 1 (2 are better) high quality cat convertors. 3. Exhaust system is quiet enough. 4. All emissions equipt (carbon canister ect) is hooked up. Call the EPA on 9695 2675 and ask for their advice (you will prob need to go to geelong to be tested at the ford plant down there) also jump on ozhonda.com and pm BLKCRX (James) He has a street legal 400kw delsol CRX. Cheers
  7. Nice work mate! Where did you purchase the washers from?
  8. I also heard of a few of them cooking the turbos due to flogging the crap outta them for extended periods then shutting them off immedietly.
  9. In Vic?
  10. Best way to geta round it is to put up a homemade p-plate that does not comply to the regulations, then it is officially not considered a proper p-plate. EG - in Vic P plate must be 150mm X 150mm white 'P' on a red background, so just make the thing 145mm X 145mm (Thats also why NSW p-plates are not valid in Vic or those ghey plate people make up by cutting them into patterns or whatever.)
  11. Already happeing in vic. Anyone remember the unmarked WRX's years ago? Or the HSV GTO coupe with HSVGTO plates? I have also been seeing plenty or Ford Territory's and Mitsi 380's getting about with UC's in them.
  12. ^^ Yeah I was thinking the same thing about dirty injectors, and I've already purchased some S15 injectors which I'll install once cleaned and flowed. I was going to get it all done this week, but after a light tap with a brick wall I have another thing to fix first.
  13. +1 for the pixies. I am sure there is a group of them operating in my area, possibly in cahoots whith some tyre wear pirates.
  14. You sent me the wrong part, you have PM.
  15. As above, if it aint broke.......
  16. Or the new Golf GTI, awesome car!
  17. Yeah I have seen some problems with the electrics, and the gearbox in them fails sometimes. I was considering purchasing my uncle's one when he put it up for sale, lucky I didn't because 2 months after the sale gearbox went pop 12k repair bill. OUCH!
  18. Would love to be able to hook up the screen as the display for my power fc, now that would be uber trick!
  19. As above. Not a bad price for a workshop, but also not a hard job to do yourself.
  20. With that budget I would get an E36 330ci, one of the nicest cars getting around.
  21. I love the roads through the Macedon area, I have a property near woodend and the drive up there is almost the best part about the place.
