i had the same problem finding a filter mate but there is a ryco one that fits fine. I cant remember the code but im back in melbourne tomorrow, ill find it and post it up for you.

You will find that if you lower the car more the 340/350mm front/rear (from centre of wheel to guard) you will greatly increase tyre wear and greatly reduce handling. You have been warned! As above, check out the SK groupbuy, goes like a zirtek!

Works ok for me. It was a spotless midnight purple 33GTR with 18" gold VOLK GT-C's, hot as. If you want to clear debt then DO NOT GET A GTR! Your story sounds alot like mine mate! I sold S15 (mine was more about no lisence for a year but also some debt) looked at countless 32GTR's, decided they are a total money pit that would cost more than, and be less pleasent to drive daily than the s15, settled on a nice 33 gts-t which I'm very happy with. You will hate going from that neat as S15 of yours to a 18+ y/o GTR, much rougher, older, ect. Trust me on this, I had the exact same idea , cept I wanted to mod the shit outta shit! Even if you find a super stock clean one (which will be hard and VERY expenisve) there is always stuff that just does not last 18+ years and will break. I would be looking at 33GTR's as they are a total bargain at the moment. I almost purchased this one, but then decided to go back to uni. Ash, I have heard the threats from the officers down there about keeping records and large fines for repeated incursions, however have never heard of anyone actually recieveing the fine. Have you? From my experience the EPA keep a (not too detailed) record of what you are running but if they only see you with the stocker it would require the police to keep records also (I have seen the taking engine bay pics but nothing to do with exhaust) and for the two agencies to cross reference the records to prove repeated swaping. Has anyone on here actually recieved a fine from the EPA apart from throwing ciggies out the window?

Is that the white one on carsales? Looks pretty neat, but the motor has only been rebuilt to factory specs, not forged from my understanding. I would be willing to pay no more than 14-15k max.

I good way to pass is to put your stock catback on and fill the muffler with steel wool............so i'm told And if the tester asks you if this is a permanet exhaust alsways say yes. A (stupid) mate actually told them that he was going to swap his 3" straight through back on after the test, IDIOT!

It was bloody dangerous getting home from work yesterday in all that mess, I saw so many accidents, close calls and stranded cars it was very worrying.
