I honestly cant believe how much rubbish and misinformation ais going around on an issue as simple as a bloody blow off valve!!!

No it will not work. Your AFM measures how much air is going into the engine, the ecu then uses that measuement of air going in to work out hom much fuel put in. When you put on a BOV that vents air back to atmosphere (makes thats loud pschhh) your computer (thinking the air is still in the engine) puts in way too much fuel. This results in stalling, stuttering, big black exhaust smoke and a generally shithouse driving experience. A 50/50 BOV still dumps 50% of the air that the ecu expects, so it still causes a problem. Just leave it stock FFS! *On a side note I changed my spark plugs on the weekend and forgot to put the BOV return pipe back on, as i changed gears i got the atmo bov noise. But it made the car feel so sluggish on gear changes, spat so much black smoke I cant imagine how anyone could deal with that just for a little ghey sound*

33's are so cheap now just get a straight one. You can pick up a stockish S2 for 13k, sometimes less!

No need for a tune, its a waste of time and money if only the cooler is being changed. Are you running stock fuel pump and boost? If so I would chuck in a walbro or bosch pump and a cheap (turbotech or similar) boost controller, wind up your boost to 0.8 bar and then get a tune. Nick

^^ Nah he's serious, have a read of his other threads. *shakes head* Thien, you cant get the sound of venting to atmosphere without the problems that come along with it, unless you change over to an ecu that does not use an AFM.

It's probably your actuator opening slightly when the volume of exhaust gasses increases (due to higher rpm), your using teh rb25 actuator I assume? Your best bet is to use an RB20 w/g actuator, and increase the preload slightly. (Do a search for 'ghetto actuator mod') It could be your inlet pipe, but I doubt it, any tuner should be able to diagnose that on a dyno though.

Well they need to follow you for 200m with two of them in the car, so they could still do you. But as you mentioned its weird that they have done nothing, and that you will get it in the mail. Same thing happened to a mate, except instead of speeding it was a burnout. They said they would take his car and send him fines, nothing happened.

Did they tell you how they clocked your speed? How many police were in the car? Was it highway patrol or normal cop car? If it was radar then yes, you're stuffed.
