  1. Is this still for sale?
  2. Check PaulR33's tutorial mate, everything you need is in there http://paulr33.sauvic.com.au/docs/powerfc-...powerfc-faq.htm
  3. Thats what I was thinking.
  4. You are a very lucky man. End of story. (Nice little writeup BTW)
  5. No. But search for PaulR33 and use th PFC faq linked from his signature, awesome resource.
  6. I used degreaser, washed that off @ carwash, then wnet over all rubber with silicone. After i gave the bay a wash though my boost guage was reading 1bar @idle and boosting all over the place. Car was fine, but the gauge was all over the place. Sorted itself out in a day or so though. Weird.
  7. None. Sit in your car for 30 secs yourself if you have to. External TT's make it easy for a thief to access your ignition wires, which makes it easier for them to steal.
  8. So for his application it is more than acceptable. Also you mention 'for the price' yet only one EBC you list as being cheaper, what the?
  9. I'm working plenty hard enough squinty!
  10. If you get a hold of one easily then its a good idea. But not a huge worry if you cant.
  11. Whats makes it shit Trent? I would have thought that if you have tuned hundreds you would be able to provide some more constructive/specific input.
  12. Keep us updated on the project. I'm looking at one of these turbos in the near future so I'm very interested. Where did you purchase it from and what sized exhaust wheel and housing does it have?
  13. Save your money and get a damn LSD Lenny!
  14. I suggest asking whoever you want to tune the car, as to which method they prefer to tune, MAF or MAP. You wont be able to tell the differnce driving the car, but the tuner will have a prefered method to tune on no doubt.
  15. Watching with interest also. Anyone have use these things?
  16. I have that setup on my R33 ATM. Boost control is easy to use, and has 4 preset boost and gain levels, it holds perfectly and does not spike at all. So a big for PFC Boost Control from me.
  17. Normally excess blowby goes into the crankcase, to stop this from becoming pressurised (bad) the crankcase is ventilated back into the air intake(just before the turbo). Because this air is somewhat oily you get small buildup throughout the intake. The best solution for this is to run an oil catch/breather setup.
  18. My advice, go the biggest metalcal you can afford. That way you can put it in and never have to worry about it.
  19. I saw you reading the thread for ages with post yet dale, as expected you were writing a mini essay! Very helpful though, as always.
  20. All the info you need is in the rb25 turbo upgrade thread stickied in this section (forced induction). Have a look at what people are using to make different power levels.
  21. I have seen one do it with only 260rwkw, took ages trying to work it out on the road, but a good tuner shoudl diagnose ti pretty quick on a dyno.
  22. Yeah it will, but there is not much point running more than 10psi without a tune of some sort (power fc, e-manage, SAFC) as your car will be running mega rich anyway.
  23. You are hitting rich and retard. The ECU richens the fuel mix and retards the timing, so you dont damage the engine. Run 10psi, much safer.
