  1. Would locking the tune also disable the boost control function?
  2. +1 for Harold, cant beat those prices. Its not worth buying it over the counter. Buy enough for a few oil changes at once and save on shipping costs.
  3. Would love to know the other company. PM me if you like. Nick.
  4. Mmmmmmmm, tasty.
  5. That looks very messy mate. With rb25 manual, 12psi, 3" exhaust, air filter, cooler and Safc you should pull around 190rwkw with a much smoother line. Solution - Go to a workshop that knows how to tune.
  6. BINGO! The basic idea of an engine is to ignite an air/fuel mixture and produce power. The more air we can get into a motor, the more fuel we can add to it, the more air/fuel mixture the more power we make. When temperatures rise air becomes less dense (less air in any given space), obiviously when temp decreases air becomes more dense (more air in a given space). Thats why on cold nights (when the car effectivly get more air) we get more power, and on hot days (car effectivly gets less air) we lose power.
  7. Nice build up mate, well done. I'm watching with interest to see if the .63ex housing can flow 340rwkw. The Mafia made 300 on a 3076 with .63 running water/meth, I dont know how much difference that would make but either way should be very interesting. Good luck, keep this thread alive!
  8. ^^^^ Look into buying a front cut from someone who wants an engine/gearbox combo, or look for someone wrecking a 33. Will save you mega $$$$$
  9. Mmmm that looks so much better than the current model,
  10. Check these bad boys out mate. http://www.autotrader.com.au/search/cat_Ca...g_1_subs_Power_
  11. Hey skylinecouple any news on your order yet? Can you possibly PM what the final cost was delivered was? Cheers
  12. I sometimes have to park my car out on the street overnight, and the other night some pole smoker tried to nick it. Now whenever the line needs to sleep outside I always arm the alarm/immob and put on the club lock, is it worth removing a fuse or two also as a last resort? Cheers
  13. That question has so many variables its impossible to give you an accurate answer. Depends on the exact mods, how well the car has been maintained, state of tune, ect.
  14. I have a trust 13 row in my r33, its very well made and effective. But trying to find an oil filter was a pain on my first oil change. If you can find one second hand I suggest you pick it up.
  15. I dont think he'll be the only one! :laughing-smiley-014:
  16. That is so god damn ghey......
  17. These guys will do it. But make sure you explain to them the benifits of journal bearings, as they might try to sell you those overrated ball bearing units. Also try to stay away from steel exhaust wheels, get ceramic, much lighter for faster spool. http://www.atpturbo.com.au/
  18. I got one from Kennards. It seemed a bit better quality than what was available from any servos, plus you dont have to return it to the same place you hired it, great for one way trips. http://www.kennards.com.au/
  19. Just measure the exhaust wheel with a ruler or tape measure. It will either be 56mm or 60mm.
  20. Post some picks up buddy.
  21. Coundown to thread lock... 10..............9...........8...........7........6 But just to help you out, and save you from using the search function. 1. Get pod 2. Get FMIC 3. Get metal pipe from pod to turbo 4. Relocate AFM btwn turbo and throttle body. 5. Block up BOV 6. Drive around dosing like a mad kent, glaring at anyone who looks. 7. Reverse all of the above as soon as you realise dosing is the domain of full hectic muzteks in VL turbos. Good luck
  22. What a bloody nuff nuff.
