KKR turbos run a Vband clamp setup, and as far as i know the only dump pipe for them is the one through otomoto (the turbo supplier) so its got nothing to do dump pipes (you can change the design for a v-band much at all) Its got to do with the wastegate design of the turbo itself, every KKR equipt skyline I have been in/driven/seen/read about boost spikes. Bad exhaust housing/wastegate design, end of story.

So I'm heading off to work this morning and what do I find? Some little pricks have tried to jimmy open my passenger side window, then for some reason smashed my drivers side 1/4 window. It seems that the alarm scared them off though, as they dont seem to have entered the car. I took it to the local cops, and got a bloke who is into cars so he sent me to his mate at the crime desk in St Kilda, who went over the car in great detail in their garage. They got a couple of good prints so fingers crossed the scumbags will get done. Anyway so now i need a new drivers side 1/4 glass, already posted in WTB but hoped someone in vic might help me out. R33 would have slight advantage due to weight, but supra should make more torque. If tyres were the same it would be all down to the driver.

From the soudn of things you will do some serious damage! If your engine is on the edge then flogging it will more than likely make it go pop. If the turbos are recently rebuilt, then they should be ok. Either way its rebuild time for you.

If you are worried about lag then save up for an RB25 engine swap, the RB20 has quite a reputation as being somewhat laggy. What you are saying is correct, the smaller the exhaust housing (generally) the better the response, but at the cost of top end power. In any event, none of the turbos you suggest will be very laggy, and I would suggest using the OP6. The rb20 turbo will limit you to about 170ish rwkw, the RB25 to 190ish and the OP6 to about 200. All on about 13psi, so pick the power you want and go for it. Just be prepared to get teh power bug and want to upgrade again. Good luck.

Mellowyellow its your car, your money, your taste. Why not photoshop on a few wheels and get whatever YOU like the most? None of us have to live with it everyday.

More info needed. Are you taling about the header tank setup?

If I had a 34gtr I would only put the best on it. Shell out for a Greddy E01, or get a PFC (cheap) with boost controll kit. This will give you really easy, clear and effective boost control.
