Thread revival FTW! I'm located in Melbourne and am thinking about doing up catchcan setup wih braided lines and AN fittings. Does anyone have an idea of (roughly) what the lines and fittings might cost? If its going to be crazy prices i'll just use the tubing supplied with some of the kits. Any ideas appreciated.

I love the the fact that nothing else could give me the fun, performance and future potential for the money I paid. And the fact that I can drive it everyday. However does anyone else get weird/aprehensive responses when you tell peple you love your car and thats it's a skyline? Most people seem to go oh........a skyline.............ok. They seem to make an instant mental not that you are a hoon, out to slaughter innocents on the road whenever you can.

I highly doubt any RB25 will pull a genuine 200rwkw with a stock turbo on 10psi. He would need about 12.5-15psi (on stock turbo) aswell as some ecu work (SAFC, remap, new ecu) in addition to the mods you have listed to make that power figure. Ask for the dyno sheet.

RB20 afm are 80mm from memory. Same size as Z32.

I woudl start by telling us all what is causing the tuning the place to say that there is a fault with your AFM? I would try giving it a good clean first. (use electronics contact cleaner, just give it a good spray. Dont touch the spring with your fingers or anything though.) If it is faulty, buy another stock rb25 AFM from the for sale section (cheap). Then the issue should be resolved. As stated earlier, a Z32 AFM requires an aftermarket ecu or ecu retune/flash (not sure if anyone in perth can do it yet), and is not really needed until you start chasing 220-300rwkw anyway. Check out Autech NA S15's. I'm not sure how much they cost, but after having driven one they are the perfect firt sports car imo.

I can tell you that my R33 drinks alot more than my old S15. Bigger engine, more weight, of course the skyline will drink more. But it also has a tougher engine/gearbox combo, and has alot more space inside. Drive them both, then make up your mind.
