  1. Try this thread buddy. If you cant find the info you need here, then try searching. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/t103095.html
  2. My mates and I have all got our lines through SSV, cnr Princes Hwy and Huntingdale Rd Oakleigh. They only have quality cars, and as long as you're a serious buyer they are more than happy to help.
  3. To be honest I would vote for anyone who said they would cut the petrol exise tax. Whack the GST on it, and leave it at that.
  4. Just started orgainsing i boys tryp to Thailand in January, hopefully for 2 weeks WOOHOO! Anyone have some fave places to visit and why?
  5. Very interested in this turbo. Sent you a text mate.
  6. Some suit the car, some dont. I had EVL S15 on my old sil, but nothing on the 33 simpy because i want to be as subtle as possible. A good one is on my mates twin turbo falcon GT-P (TT BOSS), the worst I have seen would have to be 'toilet' on a riced honda jazz!!
  7. I agree that Howard has "balanced the books" quite well when it comes to the economy. But dont forget that alot of the positive economic figures are being inflated by the huge resources boom.
  8. Mitsubishi Magnas are the best value daily driver now imo.
  9. 1. Labour will invest in our eduaction system. The lack of govt funding to universities in the form of government funded uni places (outlined in the recent OECD report mentioned in the debate last night) has forced universites to take on full fee paying students. I'm not being racist when refering to O/S students, I just belive that we should be educating or own citizens first and foremost and then looking overseas. 2. Howard lied on the Tampa and the GST. The argument that 'rudd simply hasn't been around long enough to lie' is baseless. 3. The fairness test is great in theory, I have pesonally seen friends be disadvantaged by this test. So forgive my pesisism. 4. Ratifying it will at least put some targets in place! John Howard has been a documented opponent to the climate change theory, only in the last few months has he put any effert into addressing the issue (No doubt in repsonse to his pathetic poll results). The fact that Rudd has some targets impresses me, hence why I included the point I do however agree with you on how similar the policies of the two major parties ar these days. I think a debate that involves the leaders of all parties would be more valuable to the public.
  10. I think i'll vote Rudd at this stage for a few reasons; 1. Educatuion policy, I think university should be free, howard has made the system user pays and hence O/S students are buying our uni places. 2. Howard is a liar, plain and simple. 3. Howards IR laws disadvantage those who can least afford it, people who depend on penalty rates, loadings ect. 4. Rudd is addressing climate change, Howard wont even ratify Kyoto! Thats said I am not 100% behind Rudd, I will continue to watch the campaign closely.
  11. check www.performancelub.com for cheap royal purple.
  12. Get a decent electronic boost controller, run 12psi and then get it tuned (PFC, remap, wold 3d, haltech, ect) and enjoy 200rwkw
  13. Hi guys I'm foing my first oil change on the 33 this weekend, and it has an GREX oil filter relocation kit on it. Problem is I have no idea what oil filter it takes, can anyone help? *search turned up nothing helpful* Cheers Nick
  14. Looks stuffed mate. But if you baby it about you should get some drive out of it, how much exactly I have no idea.
  15. Go matte black, looks tuff as!
  16. Try SLIDE in the traders section.
  17. This will be awesome. Keep the pics comeing dude I'm very interested.
  18. Looks like you're spending alot of time and dollars on it mate, I can really appreciate the effort. Not a fan of the styling at all, but hey who cares?! Good luck if you put it up in some shows.
  19. I woudl suggest that the small extra cost of forged bits will add up to great peace of mind in the long run. And unless you are can remove/refit an engine yourslef it will probably save you cash long term also. If the 'cheap' rb30 pops you are looking at around 1k just to get a shop to remove and refit another stock bottom end. Do it right the first time. *Would love to know the final cost of it whatever you do, shoot me a pm*
  20. Just to be sure, I hope no one is taking my above comment seriously. As LBR33 stated STAY AWAY FROM THESE TURBOS! They are poorly made, and will almost surely damage something in your engine.
  21. I was looking at 32GTRs and 33GTSTs, in the end I went the 33 for a few reasons; 1. Car will be daily driven in inner melbourne, 33 will be cheaper to run and a bit more comfy day to day. 2. The age of the car. When you get a 15+yo car perishable item will fail, no matter how well the car is looked after. 3. Insurance. Much cheaper in a 33gtst, 32 GTRs are easier and more desirable to steal. 4. Repair costs. If something terrible happens replacing (for example) and RB25 will cost much less than an RB26. 5. Value for money. For the 17k I spent i got a mint r33, with some great mods and a warranty. 32GTRS at this price were in shocking condition. 6. Fuel Econmy.....Who am I kidding? Both suck the juice. So despite the GTR being much more desirable, for my purpose and budget the GTST was the better option.
  22. That looks stunning. Makes me want to sell my 33 and get one
  23. Fingertight Performance and Cabletie Racing both use these turbos on all of their customers cars, as far as I know they have never had a problem.
