    Seeing as this thread is a waste of time anyway.... Was driving down Nepean Hwy yesterday and pulled up at the lights beside a white FC with gold rims being driven by a stunna, and i mean stunna. Then she looks over and starts revving the poor little 13b's t!ts off wantig a race (being the responsible citizen that I am, and not wanting to bring anymore attention to skylines I politely declined), all I could do was smile.

    As others have said, dont get either! Save your cash and get a nice turbo manual, NA autos are not really skylines.

    My last car was a stupidly low/loud S15, with 18 and a kit (on P's) and i got pulled over all the time, it was just silly. Defected and at the EPA almost every time I drove the thing. Now driving a 33 with 17's thats nice and quiet, no problems....touch wood. Its all on how your car looks, and where you drive it.

    Get the warranty repair. The worst thing that can happen is you are in the same position you are in now (which i seriously doubt), the best solution is that you get a turbo that works perfectly. If you dont take full advantage of the warranty what is the point of having one?

    Pete what boost is that power figure at? What other goodies do you have that would affect the spool time? Are you running the standard actuator ir is it a 1bar one from GCG? Cheers Nick

    My 33 gtst gets on average 200km per tank. O2 sensor has been replaced but 90% of my driving is in peak hour around the inner city, plus I think my tune might not be as lean as it can be.

    I would love a GTR. But I dont think the extra money is really worth it at the moment, plus RWD cars are just so much damn fun!!

    I think they still look FUGLY, if anything the VZ looked better. I would like to get my hands on an LS2 engine for a transplant though!

    OP6 Housing was used on some VG30DET turbos and on most r34 turbos thats what you have.

    Check all hoses/joins for vaccum leaks.

    Depends how much $$$ i had left to mod it. If it was going to stay stock then it be the NUR, if i had coin to mod it 2008 GTR without a doubt!
