  1. Weather is looking really good! Amped for this cruise!
  2. I usually hate cars that have super bright paint and big kits, but yours actually looks fantastic! Well done!
  3. Both those cars look stunning! **Starts saving for matte paintjob**
  4. Ha ha great read! Will try to work the "if i didn't have such a fast car I might no be alive right now" line into any conversations with police from now on, no matter how irrelevant!
  5. As Cubes says, get another guage and see if the guage is the problem. If so it's a cheap fix, just get a new guage.
  6. The amount of heat generated by that would be crazy. You would need some serious intercooling!
  7. The simple answer is to drive them all and decide for yourself.
  8. It looked like a public road too!
  9. If you can afford it treat, yourself to some height adjustable cooilovers. That way if you get done again you can easilly adjust it. Plus the handling will be much improved if you are currently running only lowered springs.
  10. This has to be someone taking the piss.......... At least I hope so.
  11. Nice write-up mate, very helpful. 4L of Castrol VMX80 and tube of Nulon G70 made the gearbox feel almost new!
  12. Hey guys. I just hooked up a PFC commander to my PFC, everything seems to be working fine except the boost control kit. It allows me to input the boost, gain ect except it is not responding. For example when I have the boost set at 0.5 bar with the gain on 15 and take it to full boost in third it hits around 16psi then holds at 15 all the way till i change gear. Can anyone suggest a solution. I have read the PFC faq and done a search, all to no avail. As far as I know the turbo is stock, so if I cant control the boost my turbine wheel will be taking a holiday in no time. Cheers. Nick
  13. What is the actual brand and model of the turbo? How many Km's have you put on it? How much boost has been run through it? Any shaft play or other problems?
  14. ^^^ I had the same problem as WhitePrincess, except my little cap fell off while driving! The result was a super loose gear stick and the cap somewhere in the gearbox, luckily it had not gone far and I was able to get it out. Ended up using the original one. Also the allen key bolts supplied from *generic shonky ebay trader* were too short to attach the 'banana clips', after two hours of straining and cursing I had the bright idea of buying some longer ones, problem solved. Good write up BTW
  15. Too bad Slide hi-flows are no longer available

    Re55's

I ran that exact size tyre on my S15. Looked like a steamroller! But there was no way I could afford re55's in that size!
  17. Mate I train in St Kilda at the local Police Citizen and Youth Centre. Its $25 per year and costs you $2 each time you visit. Its got everything you need and you only pay when you use it. Only really good for weights though, the cardio stuff is crap. I previously trained at re-creation, fitness first and even the old underworld before it closed, imo just not worth the money.
  18. Looking for a power FC commander/hand controller to suit r33. PM me if you have one for sale. Thanks Nick
  19. ^^^ What he said! Which is the correct wire?
  20. Thanks bud. I know where it is but after 10 mins of mucking about I couldn't get the little fu(k3r out, thats why I was after the help. But i'm just gonna get a mate to do the magic spanner chop mentioned above, and give it another crack. Anyone know if there s anything tricky about the wiring?
  21. Well the line has been returning abismal fuel economy lately and sure enough the O2 sensor was stuffed, so I got a new one. Problem is everyone wants crazy $$ to install it, or they wont give me a solid price. So it's going to be a home job. Problem is I'm still new at the whole 'do it yourself' and need a little help, I dont have the tool (It needs a specific one i believe) or the experience. If anyone could lend me a hand over the weekend, I'd be happy to give you a slab or something. If you can help me out Pm me. Cheers Nick
  22. The 5speed and 6speed are both the same casing, its only the internals that are different. The 6speed internals are smaller and weaker so they break quite easily. They are not much chop after about 200-220rwkw dependng on how you drive. The 5 speed will take 250rwkw quite happily on the street, and is a good match for a light tune sr20. But as GTST said if your going to flog the car go for the rb25 box, or get some tuffer internals. (And no s15's came out with factory 5speeds)
  23. It's all on the discrestion of the police officer you run into. When these laws were being discussed by lawmakers a middle aged female suggested that her car could be taken if she was to slightly misjudge a corner in the wet and 'fishtail' somewhat. The reaction of the legislator was 'The police officer would see you're middle aged lady, you woud not have your car confiscated' These laws are designed to take away the modified cars of young men, end of story.
