    So And So

I have found a $200 full inspection by a trusted mechanic and then a panel beater is the best form of insurance against things like this. Bad luck though mate, that really bites
  2. As mentioned above, its certainly a buyers market. But that said I looked for 8 months before I saw a 33 that I was happy to look at more than once. There is a huge amount of junk for sale. If you have a quality car, you will eventually find a quality buyer.
  3. Does anyone know of anywhere that sells Redline shockproof gear oil (lightweight) over the counter. I need to get some for the weekend, and cant be f'd ordering it online and waiting. Cheers Nick..... **** Perhaps I should have checked their website first. *******
  4. Opened up the (almost empty) tank tonight and had a good look around with the torch. I couldn't see anything but I'm sure its in there. Pretty much jammed by hand in as far as I could go, but couldn't reach the end where the filler neck and the pump pickup are. DAMN! There is no way i'm dropping the tank to fish the little buggar out, so i'm dropping it off to the place that complied my cars tomorrow of Friday. Cant wait to hear the excuse for why it fell in!
  5. Cheers guys, I'll go fishing tonight after work and let you know how it all goes. Should I just take the pump out and try and get to it that way? Does anyone have any other methods?
  6. Thanks for the help guys, i'm pretty sure the brass bits were there before. It looked odd when i put fuel in, but i wasn't sure. When I fish the little f_ck3r out will i need to glue it back in or anything, or should it just clip in? Also has anyone ever heard of this before? Or is it a new one for the skyline medical journals?
  7. Here is pic I took on my phone, can anyone see anything wrong?
  8. Hi guys I have a '96 gts-t, which hs just started playing up tonight. When on idle it will sometimes 'hunt' usually upwards the sometime splutter and die this is only occuring when i let the car idle. Driving around it's fine until I come to a set of traffic lights. Car has had no mods for the last two weeks, so its nothing I have done. I suspect its a fuel filter or pump. I pulled into the servo to top up with fuel just incase I was running too low, and I noticed the fuel filler neck looked odd. Is is possible for someone to post a pic of their fuel filler, I have a nasty feeling the filler has fallen into the tank and caould be causing the problem. But 'm not sure, is it even possible? Can someone with a 33 please help me out, and post up a pic. Thanks Nick...
  9. As above. I'm in vic, please pm me with price.
  10. I have one of those apexi metal intake pipes, I can confirm that the intake noise is louder than a plastic one. It is also more high pitched. I tried blocking the BOV off, and yes full hektic flutter was abundant. But I wa not a fan of the overfueling, stalling and whatnot.
  11. ^^ Those are some damn fine photos! Another good spot is the carpark near the cross at the top of Mt Macedon. Keep em coming guys, I need some ideas for this weekend.
  12. Where do people think the best places around Vic are to take car pictures? Ill start it off with the Collins st extention, near the yellow light thingys.
  13. If there are any left overs for r33 S2 let me know. I'll pay for it and take it asap.
  14. Price on both varieties front and rear for 33gts-t please. Cheers
  15. I inspected that car. It has no cat.
  16. Mate check out the new skydeck in the eureka building, looks pretty sweet!
  17. Still for sale?
  18. If cash was no issue would turn it into a dedicated drag car. And buy a 911 turbo for my daily
  19. There are only two possibilities: Run Bearing or Really Broke
  20. When I put my sub and amp in they were only secured in the boot with rolled up car magazines. Stayed like that for about 4 months before I got so sick of everything bumping around.
  21. Hey mate, congrats. I was looking at that exact same car! In the end I purchased a silver 33 from them instead, good blokes indeed. My car originally had the 32GTR wheels on it but like you said they a bit ratty, but i grabbed those ones in your picture! Also when I looked at that car (2 weeks ago) it was running an HKS FCON computer, and no one in Victoria can tune them so i'd double check that. Also I think it had an HKS wastegate actuator on it, so maybe dif turbo? Anyway good luck with it mate!
  22. I did a season in Falls Creek last year and just turned down another due to "having to come back to the real world". I have a feeling the season will be average again this year anyway, but i might hit up NZ in August anyway. As mentioned above Japan is the place to go, amazing powder and hot springs with cool little monkeys!! Anyway if anyone is planning/going up i will be in for sure. I'm also a ski instructor so anyone who cant ski, i can give you some basic tips and exercises so you can at least do the green runs! Also if you can buy gear in the US DO IT! The market over there is huge and all the prices are really good!
