Hi guys i'm in the process of purchasing a 33 and a set of nice wheels and tyres have come up at a great price, but I can find no info as to if they will fit. The car is lowered slightly but can be raised until lipping or rolling (if needed) is completed. I found the whole thing average at best, prob cause i missed the dyno comp. But also not many cars i liked. I thought the best car was the blown and gassed white M3, simply stunning. IMO best nissan was the blue s14.5 on the motorware stand. RC drift cars were cool too. Also the young gentleman of middle eastern apperance doing a "wogalicious" version of Fergie's ferglicious on the main stage was hilarious, even more so because I think he was serious!

In the end I have found that whats legal and what they will clear are two different things. The fact remains that 2 intake mods are illegal and even if it gets cleared this time, any TMU cop who picks andru up next time will defect him for the exact same thing. In saying that I suggest you try Burwood VicRoads to get the defect cleared, they are.................sympathetic. Particularly around closing time on a Friday. Good Luck

To be honest 1mil would not be enough for me to leave the country and never return. If it was 11mil then hell yes! But in the grand scheme of things 1mil is not a huge amount of of money. Would have been sweet to get some ATM reciepts though!!! Perfect thing to write your number on!

Mate forget the 'burbs! Get a nice unit in either South Melb, Albert Park, St Kilda (East & West), Balaclava or Elwood. You will pay a lil bit more, but the lifestyle is the bomb! Your right near the beach, no more than 10 mins from the city and your close to St Kilda which is awesome (particularly in summer).

Yes, thats exactly what wil happen. As you can see you're placing more load on one part of the tyre and less on the other. Hence less grip. I had this problem on my s15, once corrected it made the world of diference.

I think it would be harder to put the 2j in and keep AWD!

Also check out the new varex muffler from x-force. It is a muffler that has a valve built in that opens and closes by remote control. When open its a straight through muffler, but when closed it diverts the flow through the sides of the muffler and is much quieter. It was reviewed in autosalon magazone this much, and apparently performed very well. I will be using or at least trialing it on my next car.

Also if you dont have one yet get an upgraded clutch and flywheel combo, also some good brake pads and fluid. All the power in the world is useless if you cant slow it down.

KKR turbos are not direct replacement. If your not looking for huge power get one of the slide highflows, not much better "bang for your buck". (Search for slide) And alot more stealth, which is always important in good old victoria. But like Paul said before you do anything get fuel pump and tune.

Also because your car is lowered with no camber correction you probably have some extra negative camber on the rear. This will reduce the amount of contact the tyre has with the road, reducing grip even more.

What AL said is correct, its actually not that hard to pass the emmissions test in vic. Most of our cars would pass if we had a compliance cat and a good tune (not too lean), I was even going to get my s15 tested. But when i got quoted $1700 and if it failed you HAVE to go back and pay for another test, it was not worth it. If you have the cash you can do it. BLKCRX (james) of CRXaustralia and Hondata fame passed no problem with over 300rwkw from a 1.6l delsol CRX. And thats on a car that had no turbo to start with.
