  1. For the price of those powerplay roms you could get a microtech and take it somewhere thats puts in the time to tune them to perfection, which would surely get a better result (fuel econ, AFR and power) wise than a generic chip. I would suggest Anthony Rodriguez, he does amazing things with Microtech.
  2. Graph please
  3. 15 pages on this topic! WTF!
  4. Ha ha ha ha the first paragraph looks like its been written by a toddler.
  5. Yeah I saw that on 7 news a minute ago. No matter what anyone says you cant justify being caught 7 times in 16 days for offences on your L's unless you are a total di(khead. So thanks Mark Russel for bringing more heat to out scene. On a positive note i'm currently looking for a black 33 so I'll keep my eyes peeled for it at the police auctions!
  6. Hey mate Nick here from melb (EVLS-15). Great to see the work your doing on the car mate. Just wish you were back n melb to do it (and run stefan's business ) so i could swing past and perve on the whole thing. anyway mate keep going and good luck! Nick....
  7. Awesome little project!!
  8. I save a much water as possible but like Ash said its useless with industry using so much and them doing nothing to save it. I was at the Mountain Goat Brewery the other day and saw a bloke hosing the floor for 20 mins then leaving it running when he went to say hi to some mates who had just walked in! Also if grey water means i can shower for as long as i like then i'm all for it! They use it throughout europe and its no problem at all. I reckon they should just switch it on, not tell anyone and after 6 months of us all using it tell us. Almost no one could tell the difference.
  9. I think its only if you lose your lisence in the first 12 months of having it. Not if you just get a fine.
  10. Just saw a news report 3 sex offenders have just been recaptured in the CBD area after escaping from a mental "facility". Lucky is wasn't one of them.......or was it? Thats why i dont let strangers into my car.
  11. Moving the plate to another position is legal as long as it is visible from 2 metres away 45 degree angle. Sticker plates are not legal because they are not a numberplate at all. I got done doing 35km/h over the speed limit by a camera but got off it because i have stickers on the car instead of plates. I then had a cop come to my house and fine me for not displaying plates.
  12. Thats the exact same thought I had. I might you buy a 33 in 5 years or so and enjoy 300rwkw out of a totally stock vehicle. :sorcerer:
  13. Just wondering why you would do this in the first place? Is is to stop air air 'bouncing' between turbo and AFM telling the ECU to fuel when the throttle is closed?
  14. Mate if you wanta professional to check your car out go to see Geoff Nicholls @ Prestige in Glenferrie. He has looked at all of the cars i have purchased and a send all my friends to him also. He charges you a decent price and knows everything back to front. His number is 9818 4555
  15. I have only seen some of the manifolds they sell and they are puss. The internal welds and general flow direction is terrible, if the coolers are anything like them I would stay away.
  16. There was a bloke in Victoria who had a 33 that was supercharged, he would come to cruises occasionally. From what i understood his setup was quite limited in terms of the power it could make, possibly stock NA internals im not really sure. Thats about all I know apart from the fact it was black with some terrible Fast and Furious/Transformer graphics all over the side.
  17. If your talking about the shop in melbourne, then from my experience they are pretty good. I got my s15 through them in 03 and it was in awesome condition, and the service they offered was not bad at all. But the prices are a little steep. I was happy to pay a premium for a really top notch example, but be prepared to bargain a bit if your want a decent price.
  18. you got log books or auction report to prove km's? Very nice and clean BTW.
  19. You guys only have to vote for politicians every now and then. I have to live with one And after seeing all the rubbish first hand, I simply never enrolled and dont plan to vote. Its a dirty scummy game to be in IMO.
  20. Honestly I would never drive a car like that anywhere in Melbourne without Engineers and emission test. The TMU will see you driving and get very happy indeed! But considering the time and money you seem to have put into the car already, you should investigate getting an emission and engineer cert. Expensive but worthwhile.
  21. Grrrrr.....One more reason i wish i had never sold her
  22. I'm gonna run out and get me some fish and chips right now!!
  23. I know that this might come as a surprise to most people so you might want to sit down before you read any further........ If you drive an import you will get picked on particularly if it is modified. (Shock horror I know) I would imagine almost everyone on this forum would have found this out the hard way, I sure did. The answer? Just keep your car legal or mods very well hidden, unless you like the constant trips to vic roads and the Mcleod EPA test centre. One more note, the epa guys are not stupid. They know more about cars than any vic roads drongo i have met. You will find it very difficult to pull the wool over their eyes.
  24. Text removed, you have been warned.
  25. Is is manual or auto? I'm interested.
