  1. Kevin is your car the black R33 I always see at Primal Garage with Gtr kit and wing?
  2. Totally off topic R-Spec that R34 looks bloody hot! I usually hate any imports in red but that looks great!
  3. Massive lag monster! And IMO too big for an internally standard RB25, they will push an easy 320+ rwkw which will make your RB25 (if its stock internal) go pop quite quickly. Whats your power goal?
  4. Keep in mind if you can sell the PFC for 1200 and get a stock ecu thrown in you can get toshi (search the traders forum for 'toshi') to remap you standard ECU for around $400 which is a very good option. It will be fine for the mods you have (and as its very hard to detect you wont get defected for it) the only downside is the PFC will be better if you want to do many more power mods in the future (bigger turbo, AFM, injectors, etc).
  5. Your car will lose signiicant power if the PFC is tuned for those modifications. Also running the bigger turbo with stock management is a dangerous proposition unless you baby the car everywhere (dont go WOT or take the revves above about 3.5k) as you risk detonation and engine failure. If you put the stock turbo back on the car would run fine (if a little rich). Why do you want to remove the PFC?
  6. I seriously doubt a clutch for that price would hold 300 (kw i'm assuming). As Paul Said I would not use one of those clutches for anything other than a street car with 210kw or less. If your gonna go much above that power levlel, or will be using the car for any motorsport invest in a tougher clutch (Jim Berry, Nismo, Os Giken) as if you dont you will fry you cheapy and will need to buy the more expensive one later anyway. Buy the price seems about right for a cheap HD clutch.
  7. My uncle (top victorian barister) has just written a book on avoiding the pitfalls of online business. It details how to safely conduct transactions like the ones mentioned above, and if things do go askew how to ensure a quick and legally binding solution. It is designed specifically to show you how to protect youself from ruthless traders trying to use the internet as a cloak of invisibility. If you would like a copy the cost is only $100 + 10postage. Cheap insurance for those of us spending thousands on expensive car parts. PM me you address details and i'll send you my bank details, once funds have cleared I'll express post the book straight away.
  8. Hey spunky munkey do you own the black R33 with GTR kit/wing that is often at Primal Garage?
  9. Well done on the rego mate. Epic fail on the spelling and sentence structure!
  10. Search for 'flutter' and you will find all the info (and plenty of junk) that you could imagine. IBTL

  12. Most people say apexi power intake, but in reality you would never notice any difference.
  13. Sell your VL and try out an RB in a decent chassis!
  14. Beautiful car, good luck with it!
  15. Oh well lucky you are not hurt. I had a similar incident in my old car, but didn;t hit anything thank christ. As Ash said probably the tyres, mine were fine in the dry but a death trap in the wet, particularly if you has stiff suspension. Good luck with the repairs!
  16. Such a shame for two young men to die. But how could they be doing those speeds in that place at that time? Particularly with the fact a relative died there in similar circumstances. Such a shame, such stupidity and such an unnecessary loss of life. RIP.
  17. Its all in the suspension and tyres. The softer they are (tyres and sus) the more traction you have.
  18. Exhaust - 500-900 (2nd hand vs new) Turbotech @ 12 Psi ($40?) R34 SMIC - $150 Toshi ECU remap (search for it) around $400 You will the have 200rwkw - very good power and response for $1200 Whiteline Swaybars from Garage 13 - $380 2nd hand Adjustable Coilovers - $500-$800 Now the car handles well for under a grand if you look for a good deal QFM K500 brake pads - $150 QFM Stainless Steel brake lines -$250? (not exactly sure on price) Good brake fluid - $70 Now the things stops! for under $500 Spend the rest on labour or beers to help you DIY!!
  19. Will prob come down for a look sunday.
  20. Steer clear of the 25/40. Poor response and no more power than the GT-RS. If I was in your situation i would be looking into a GT3071R, very good results popping up on these forums recently with this turbo.

    Engine Damage

No damage to engine, btu as above it would be worthwhile to change your fuel filter.

    Dam Epa

Be aware that if you fail they will give you 1 month (in which you can drive the car) to rectify the problem(s) and only after that will your rego be suspended.
  23. Hi Rick. I made 200rw/kw with the stock dump but i would replace it anyway if you can. I just put in a JJR split dump pipe from just jap (cost about $80 i think). Yes they are street legal, as long as the exhaust is under 90db which will have more to do with your muffler setup rather than the front/dump pipe.
