^^ Are you dual fuel or dedicated gas?? My old man had a ford and a toyota on gas and he had minimal problems, only when the gas tank got down very low. Or hwne he was changing from petrol over to gas.

There are companies who will get your lights back to that condition for less that $500. I have some emails from them at work, will post up details when i'm in next.

If the date on the notice has passed the cars rego will be suspended. That mean that in VIC you can;t get a day/unreg vehicle permit. As all the state systems are hooked up now I would be almost certain you would not be able to get a permit to drive the car in the ACT. So you will have to trailer it up.

Its not expiring, but the governments bean counters are thinking about axing it.

Hi all, Does anyone have any experience with people/busines' who do aftermarket LPG fitment in Melbourne? Area, time it took, quality and price woud be great. I've just inherited a neat daily driver which I'm considering the conversion. I have looked around on the internet this weekend but can find only limited info. The car is a 3.8L commodore (yeah yeah I know, no need for comments) and I want to make it as cheap to run as possible. I have heard that there are places which will do it for no more than the cost of the govt rebate. Can anyone confirm? Cheers Nick

Why not just go to the vicroads website and look up the laws? ITS ALL ON THERE FFS! Including what cars you can and cant drive.

Decide what you want to do with the car first, and what your budget is. If you dont want to get above 270rwkw, then get another stock bottom end. CHEAPEST 2-3k Up to 370rwkw i would use a forged rb25 bottom end. 5k+ Above 370rwkw (if you can afford it) go the forged RB30 10K+ All prices are drive in drive out, you can save cash if you DIY.

What you can do depends on where your license is from. So if you can drive it in QLD you can drive it down here, as long as you have a VALID QLD license.
