Im unsure of the requirements of the ADR testing. He didnt put a probe in my exhaust, just placed a microphone like thingo about a foot away from the cannon and told me to rev the engine to a set RPM.

URAS (monkeywarehouse.com.au) and BN (just type in BN on google)are more similar, wide, and generally PHAT while vertex (www.jap.com.au) is higher and suits the line of the R32 better. In South Australia (dunno about other states) the Uras or BN will be instantly defectable because ground clearance is below the legal limit.

Couldnt agree more, cutting the parcel shelf is considered a defect because I think its considered a major structural part of the car or something like that

Do you have an aftermarket exhaust? They checked the dB of mine and lucky mine was quiet so they let me pass. had to rev the engine to 3,000 RPM. I also put the stock airbox in to lower the noise. They also checked my hicas lines etc, Upper control arms (always the 1st thing they check on the 32), and Radius Rods (castor). They'd do the same to your car Also make sure all the lights, demisters are working or they'll reem u 4 it. Do you have an eye level rear brake light? TT- just disconnect the interface and hide the harness, pretty sure if the popo didnt see it, regency wouldnt check for it.
