  1. Fairly easy to import as personal import it will be just some paper work proving you have owned the vehicle and used it for more than 1 yr. if you need help there are plenty of brokers on here including myself who would be willing to do the whole process for a fee. regards, Phil
  2. At auction in japan they can be as cheap as 500,000yen average price for the one you want would be 800,000yen - 1,000,000yen email me directly if you require and further information about landed complied prices regards, Phil
  3. Buying from Trade car view is like buying from any seller in japan, you must get the car inspected buy someone and verify it exists. Trade car View is well known for sellers who put cars on for fishing purposes care is required.

  6. i will continue to supply Auction access with results to any Paid brokers service free of charge if the customer requests. It is unfortunate that many avail places are stopping service but in most cases it is a paid service each company has to pay subscription services to. if you are serious to buying cars most people who want your business will supply the information readily.
  7. i can do it through or brokers system. once you have signed up i will give you access to the Auction system. regards, Phil

  9. you just need to do a visual inspection on any door you might want to purchase you can see the bars by looking through the outer edge of the glass rubber with a small torch. there was no specific start or stop for the use of the side intrusion bars and you can only assume the factory used up all non intrusion bars the just went on with the newer type. i have bought 1993 doors for customers and found them to be non intrusion type but again i can only assume these were fitted to the donor car as replacement after an accident. cheers, Phil

  18. UPDATE As of today i have a failed application for a personal import. vehicle purchase in 2009 by myself last personal import i had done june/2010 rules changed Nov/2010 = 1 in 5 year rule ETC new application made FEB/2012 for vehicle bought in 2009. Today i receive the reply for the application to do a personal import due to 5yr rule my application has failed even tho my vehicle was purchased prior to Nov/2010 and may last personal import was done prior to the rule change. Assessment of your Application I have assessed your application to import 2004 XYZ%$@& under the Personal Imports Scheme and your application fails to meet this scheme by: • Applicants are only allowed one personally imported vehicle every 5 years. • You had a personal import approval granted 4/6/2010 so are ineligible to import another vehicle under this scheme. anyway its of no consequence to me as i only wanted to see the reply as there is so many questions unanswered fully. i will argue the point to them and see what the outcome will be as the new rules where implemented on Nov/2012 and has now effected vehicle bought prior to personal imports rule change and also included any previous imports imported before the rule change and see what the reply is. Although i think i have a valid argument i dont think they will easily change there minds.
  19. $25,000-$40,000 landed and complied Mint R32 GTRS command decent money to buy in Japan you are looking at buy price of at least 1 million yen. it would be nice but maybe not mint depends on the day and how lucky you can be on finding good examples.
  20. Alphard ....... what happened ?
  21. personal imports there is no requirement to change them unless they are not roadworthy condition for registration requirements. FACT that is if you are going to do personal import and NOT RAWS complied. hope that helps..... but why a R33 come on..... why not something unique...
  22. 2 ways to look at if you import anything from outside Australia Use a postal service = ussually no TAX depending customs value. Use a Freight company = Tax
  23. seems like pretty good price from USA to me for 1.35 Cubic meters i could expect to pay 3 times the freight price alone form japan. as long as customs dont try sting you which i think they will, they kept me 30mins after arriving in Brisbane airport with a center tailshaft bearing for a Soarer and charged me $17 GST on it before they would let me go.
